Joe Biden became the first President since Lyndon Johnson not to seek re-election.
But up until now, no one knew why he ended his campaign.
And Nancy Pelosi delivered one final ultimatum that forced Joe Biden to quit the 2024 race.
Joe Biden comes clean about dropping his bid for re-election
CBS’ Robert Costa conducted one of the most embarrassing interviews with a President ever.
Costa fawned all over Biden and asked one obsequious question after another to Biden.
The only real news from this chat between Biden and one of his supporters came when Biden admitted that he dropped out of the race under pressure from Nancy Pelosi over concerns Biden remaining on the ballot would tank the party’s Senate and House candidates.
Biden told Costa the polls showed him within striking distance of Trump and that wasn’t why he quit.
“Look, the polls we had showed that it was a neck-and-neck race. It would’ve been down to the wire,” Biden stated.
But Biden said he yielded in the face of a pressure campaign that Nancy Pelosi organized revolving around House and Senate Democrats going public with their concern about what Biden remaining the nominee meant.
“But what happened was, a number of my Democratic colleagues in the House and the Senate thought that I was gonna hurt them in their races,” Biden said.
“And I was concerned if I stayed in the race, that would be the topic. You’d be interviewing me about why did Nancy Pelosi say, why did so and so… and I thought it’d be a real distraction,” Biden concluded.
NEW: President Joe Biden confirms he was pushed out of the race by top Democrats who apparently staged a coup on him.

The consequences of the coup
Democrats waited until the last possible moment to pull their switcheroo.
Biden dropping out just after the Republican convention accomplished two goals.
First, it eliminated Donald Trump’s bounce as Biden exiting the campaign dominated the news cycle instead of the successful Republican convention and the aftermath of the assassination attempt on Trump.
Second, it allowed Party bosses to install Kamala Harris as the nominee, where she only had to run a 100-day campaign.
Holding an actual primary that played out over the course of several months would have exposed all the flaws of Harris – or any other candidate who sought the nomination.
A 100-day sprint to Election Day meant Harris can go a month without rolling out any policy proposals or sitting for an interview.
Donald Trump is essentially punching in the air because Harris’ handlers won’t put her in any situation where she can make a statement that provides Republicans a hook to turn the news cycle against her.
