Donald Trump’s agenda crashed and burned because of this act of sabotage

The clock is ticking on President Trump’s Make America Great Again Agenda.

Recently, Donald Trump faced unexpected resistance.

And Donald Trump’s agenda crashed and burned because of this act of sabotage.

Donald Trump’s runway to pass the largest tax and spending cut bill in American history shrunk thanks to nine Republicans joining with Democrats to try and force an unconstitutional change to House rules that would enable fraud.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) called the House into recess and stopped all votes on Trump’s tax and spending cut bill as well as legislation to stop rogue Democrat judges from issuing nationwide injunctions because of Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL).

Luna gathered eight other Republicans to join Democrats in signing Luna’s discharge petition to change the rules of the House of Representatives to allow for proxy voting for new mothers.

Members of Congress are expected to show up and vote in person to represent their constituents.

Luna’s maneuver took control of the House away from Republicans and handed it over to the Democrat Party.

Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene slammed Luna and the eight other Republicans as “selfish” for derailing key votes on Trump-backed bills.

Greene posted on social media that she’s a mom and understands the concerns, but Congress isn’t a work from home job.

If Luna and her Democrat allies think moms can’t show up to vote in person, then they need to resign to take care of their families.

“As a mom, I know all about seasons of life. If you aren’t capable of doing the job your constituents sent you to do, then you should step aside and let someone else do it,” Greene stated.

Republicans aren’t going to let Democrats dictate the rules of the House of Representatives.

Greene ripped Luna and her compatriots for bringing the Trump agenda to a screeching halt.

“We have critical bills to pass to prevent illegals from voting and to stop judges from vetoing President Trump’s agenda,” Greene concluded. “It’s a shame that selfish politicians are putting themselves before the American people.”

Speaking to reporters, Greene expanded on her criticisms of Luna’s unconstitutional proxy voting scheme, saying being a member of Congress wasn’t a right.

“What we just voted on, this rule, Luna’s bill, is extremely unfortunate. You know, being in Congress is a privilege, you don’t have to be here, and there’s plenty of people in her district that could serve in Congress if she chose for, you know, time to be home and be a mother,” Greene began.

Greene said members of Congress shouldn’t get special treatment that members of the military aren’t afforded.

“I think members of Congress need to basically leave their egos at the door and realize that this is an important job in the same way that soldiers go off and they’re deployed overseas, they come home and actually meet their babies for the first time and their babies are several months old,” Greene added.

Article 1, Section 5 of the Constitution states that a quorum is necessary for Congress to do business stating that “a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business; but a smaller Number may adjourn from day to day, and may be authorized to compel the Attendance of absent Members, in such Manner, and under such Penalties as each House may provide.”

If the framers intended for proxy voting where members didn’t need to be in the chamber to cast votes, they wouldn’t have specified that enough members needed to be physically present for a quorum.
