Lara Trump’s reaction to pre-emptive pardons
Joe Biden is reportedly considering taking the lawless step of issuing a pre-emptive pardon for figures such as Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.
Biden is considering these blanket pardons to protect his allies from criminal prosecution.
Conferring a pardon on them – according to the Supreme Court – comes with an acceptance of guilt so Biden issuing pre-emptive pardons would carry the weight of millions of Americans thinking them to be criminals.
The great irony of all this is Democrats are only worried Trump will prosecute people who may have broken the law in going after him because Democrats tasked rogue prosecutors with bending the law to invent fake crimes to target Trump.
Lara Trump addressed the pre-emptive pardons in an interview on Fox News with host Bill Hemmer.
Trump’s daughter-in-law reminded Hemmer that Trump repeatedly said on the campaign trail that he had no intention of exacting retribution on his political enemies because turning America into a success would be the best revenge he could get.
“Well, Bill, Donald Trump himself said that success will be his revenge. If there’s anyone who understands how egregious it is to have the politicization of our systems against one individual, it is Donald Trump. And I think one of the reasons that the people of this country overwhelmingly came out and supported him is because they want to be able to trust these fundamental institutions like our Department of Justice again,” Lara Trump stated.
Lara Trump explained that part of making America great involved restoring trust in institutions and a system that Joe Biden showed was rigged first by trying to jail Donald Trump and then by pardoning Hunter Biden.
Trump added that if Fauci, Schiff, Cheney, or Milley have anything to worry about it’s because they have “broken the law” and not because Donald Trump will weaponize the government to come after them.
“He does not plan on retribution. He plans on restoring trust and faith of the American people into so many of these foundational elements of our country. And so I would say, look, if anyone has done anything wrong, then maybe they should be worried not because of Donald Trump, because maybe they’ve broken the law,” Lara Trump added.
Lara Trump reminded viewers about all the fearmongering about Donald Trump tweeting America into World War III during his first term.
“But, you know, when it comes to Donald Trump, I think people are actually going to be very surprised to see how he operates because there has been so much fearmongering, there’s been so many scare tactics when it comes to Donald Trump. We remember how he was the first term in office. He didn’t start World War III,” Lara Trump continued.
Trump showed all the hysterics were wrong when he became the first President in generations not to start any new wars.
“He was actually the first president in 82 years not to start a new war, not to get America into a new war. And much in the same way, I think people are going to see very quickly that this is a man who really just wants to go in there and take charge of this country as the American people mandated. You know, secure our border, bring down inflation, get us out of wars and do the right things for America. He has no intention on retribution or revenge,” Lara Trump concluded.
