Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are the candidates for the general election.
But will the two debate?
Kamala Harris was told to debate Trump on Fox News for this strange reason.
Donald Trump proposes Fox News debate
Joe Biden quitting the race nullified the agreement Biden and Trump had for a debate televised by ABC News on September 10.
Since Kamala Harris was a new candidate, Trump said there should be new negotiations over terms for a debate.
Trump posted on Truth Social that since a judge allowed his defamation lawsuit against ABC and anchor George Stephanopoulos to proceed, there was an obvious conflict of interest.
Therefore, Trump wrote, he proposed a debate on Fox News scheduled for September 4.
That day was critical since it was two days before states began early voting.
“I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant, and I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos [sic], thereby creating a conflict of interest,” Trump stated.
Harris rejects Trump’s offer
Harris was afraid to debate on Fox News for fear of facing real questions.
ABC’s liberal safe space meant the moderators would try and rig the debate in her favor through the selection of questions and how they framed them.
So Harris rejected the idea of a Fox News debate.
“It’s interesting how ‘any time, any place’ becomes ‘one specific time, one specific safe space,'” Harris wrote on X.
Kamala then falsely claimed she had an agreement with Trump for a debate on September 10.
“I’ll be there on Sept. 10, like he agreed to. I hope to see him there,” Harris added.
James Carville says Harris should accept Fox News offer
Democrat strategist James Carville told Jen Psaki on her MSNBC show that Harris should take up Trump on the offer for a Fox News debate.
But Carville said Harris should propose September 18 since that is the day Judge Juan Merchan – the Biden campaign donor judge who oversaw Alvin Bragg’s rigged show trial in Manhattan – will sentence Trump.
“I think that she should say ‘I will debate him on Fox on the night of September 18th‘ because I happen to know he is going to be in Manhattan on the 18th because that’s when they’re going to sentence him,” Carville stated.
Carville said that could mean that Trump would have to show up to the debate wearing an ankle monitor if Merchan sentenced him to prison, but delayed Trump needing to report so he could appeal.
“And I am sure the judge will give a delay in the execution of sentencing to allow him to show up at a debate. So, if you want to have the debate, let’s have it on Fox and let’s have it on September 18th when he is in an ankle bracelet,” Carville added.
Psaki naturally loved the idea.
“That is quite a visual. I tend to agree that she should just do the fox debate; why not?” Psaki said in response.
That was the point of all this lawfare in the first place.
Trump didn’t commit any actual crimes.
Democrats just wanted to use the judicial system to settle political scores and embarrass Trump.
