Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman can read the writing on the wall.
Fetterman is trying to re-invent himself.
And John Fetterman went on Fox News and tried to pull a fast on Trump supporters.
John Fetterman tries to pretend he is pro-Trump
John Fetterman came to prominence as a Bernie Bro that won election to be Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania.
Fetterman’s 6’8” frame, bald head, and goatee allowed Fetterman to pass himself off as a stereotypical “yinzer” – a working-class Pittsburgh resident – while voting the extreme Left line in Congress.
As a Senator, Fetterman supports abolishing the filibuster, packing the Supreme Court, and imposing taxpayer-funded abortion until birth in all 50 states.
Then the 2024 election happened, and Donald Trump carried Pennsylvania for the second time.
Republican challenger Dave McCormick also ousted three-term Democrat incumbent Senator Bob Casey Jr.
Casey’s loss especially spooked Fetterman; the Casey name is golden in Pennsylvania thanks to the fact that Bob Casey Sr. was a popular two-term governor who Bill Clinton refused to let speak at the Democrat National Convention because he opposed abortion.
Fetterman is up for re-election in 2028, when turnout will peak owing to the fact that it’s a Presidential year.
And Fetterman is trying to ingratiate himself to Trump supporters.
In an appearance on Fox News Special Report, Fetterman confirmed that he met with Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as the Director of National Intelligence as well as other Trump nominees that the Washington, D.C. Swamp hates, like Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“Well, you know, I met with her, in fact I think I’ve met with virtually all of them, and the ones that I haven’t, they’re on my schedule, RFK and Governor Noem, so I’m happy to meet with all of them. And that’s also part of this, I don’t know why that was controversial,” Fetterman began.
The Washington, D.C. Swamp – and this includes RINOs like Kentucky’s Mitch McConnell – want to derail Gabbard and Kennedy’s nominations.
Gabbard opposes illegal warrantless spying and will purge the intelligence community of the deep state conspirators who ran the Russia collusion and Ukraine impeachment hoaxes.
Kennedy will bring transparency to vaccine studies.
Fetterman tried to make it seem like he was open-minded to their nominations.
“I mean, I got a lot of blowback just, you know, even to meet with them, and to me, I see that as just doing my job, and I’m going to have a conversation with anyone that would like to have a conversation with me,” Fetterman added.
But Fettman only committed to confirming establishment figures like Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) for Secretary of State and former New York Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik as Ambassador to the United Nations.
“In fact, you know, whether it’s our colleague Rubio, Representative Stefanik, or even Sean Duffy, and I expect to vote for him as well too, and Brooke Rollins for agriculture, again. So there’s a lot of them, I can say right now here on FOX, I’m going to vote for them,” Fetterman continued.
Fetterman – however – wouldn’t commit to voting to confirm Gabbard or Kennedy.
“But then there’s others, you know, that we’re going to go through the process, but I’m open to hear from everyone, and I don’t know why that’s controversial, and I also would like to remind everyone on the Democratic side, that’s the way democracy works,” Fetterman stated.
Gabbard and Kennedy are true change agents.
And if Fetterman won’t vote to confirm them then he is doing nothing but paying lip service to conservatives.
