Donald Trump is once again the President of the United States.
Democrats are preparing their resistance.
And Greg Gutfeld revealed Donald Trump has one secret weapon that Democrats can’t counter.
Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees face confirmation hearings
President Trump’s cabinet nominees are running the gauntlet in the United States Senate prior to their confirmation votes.
Democrats are trying to set booby traps along the way to prevent Trump from getting his team put in place to carry out his MAGA agenda.
Trump’s nominees set the tone with Secretary of Defense pick Pete Hegseth ripping Democrats for trying to smear him with anonymous, false allegations.
Hegseth’s performance reminded Republicans about how Brett Kavanaugh fought back against the lies and smears about how he sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford when they were in high school.
Kavanaugh knew the allegations were lies and came out swinging.
Hegseth followed that playbook and set the template for Trump’s cabinet picks to go on the offensive in their hearings against the Democrats character assassination attempts.
Perhaps the Democrat that embarrassed themselves the most was Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI) whose first question to every Trump nominee she questioned was if they ever forced themselves on another person to make “unwanted requests for sexual favors.”
Hirono is regarded as one of the dimmer members of the Senate and Gutfeld appropriately mocked her question.
“I think she’s doing research,” Gutfeld snarked.
Gutfeld joked that Hirono focused on this obsession because no one ever hit on her.
“She’s doing research because she’s never experienced an unwanted request for a sexual favor in her life,” Gutfeld added.
Gutfeld then quipped that no Trump nominee was in danger of falling on the wrong side of Hirono’s question because they were all physically fit and good looking.
“You are going from a garden gnome to Kristi Noem. I mean, she is so hot that shooting a dog isn’t a deal-breaker. And I’m telling you this, when you look at this crop of nominees and the party, there’s something there, man,” Gutfeld began.
“They’re all in great shape. You’ve got to look at people who preserve and maintain what’s important in their lives. If they’re going to do that with their physical self, they’re going to do that in other areas. This is why, like a lot of liberals are fat, out-of-shape losers because they don’t believe in structure and discipline,” Gutfeld added.
Trump’s nominees have so far navigated Democrats with ease.
Democrats aren’t Trump’s biggest problem.
If Republicans stay united, they can confirm all of Trump’s nominees since they hold the majority.
But RINO warmongers like Mitch McConnell are looking to torpedo Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination as Director of National Intelligence because Gabbard opposes the war in Ukraine and has opposed illegal warrantless spying in the past.
Donald Trump also opposes the war in Ukraine and warrantless spying, but McConnell is trying to box him in by rejecting Gabbard and forcing him to accept some establishment warmonger in the position.
