Geraldo Rivera used to be one of Donald Trump’s closest friends.
But now Rivera is in a state of open warfare with Trump and his team.
And Geraldo Rivera just threatened to punch this top Trump ally in the face.
Geraldo Rivera wants to fight Stephen Miller
Donald Trump naming immigration hawk Stephen Miller as his deputy chief of staff signaled that Trump intended to make good on his mandate to carry out mass deportations and put a stop to Joe Biden’s border crisis.
These are common sense policies that the American people overwhelmingly ratified when they voted for Donald Trump in landslide fashion.
Amnesty cheerleaders like Rivera don’t realize that a new day is dawning on America.
That enraged Rivera.
MSNBC host Ari Melber asked Rivera about an NBC News report detailing how the Trump administration planned a high-profile workplace raid in the Washington, D.C. area to round up and deport illegal aliens taking jobs from American citizens.
“The Trump transition team wants to do what they call a D.C.-area showcase immigration raid in the first days,” Melber began. “[T]his would be a quote, ‘high-profile raid targeting undocumented immigrants in its initial days…’ I’m curious what you think of this because I’ve covered this.”
Before the November election, Melber likely would have declared this racist and scoffed at the idea of border security.
But in the wake of the American people rejecting Kamala Harris because she supported open borders, even the Democrat Party adjacent media realized it needed to recalibrate on this issue.
“I’ve had Stephen Miller on the show. I think we can stipulate that there are debates about immigration in this country and undocumented immigration has been rising. And there’s a question about how to deal with that in a holistic way that is humane, but protects national security,” Melber concluded.
Geraldo Rivera talks boxing out immigration opponent
Rivera responded by harkening back to his youth when he was a boxer and claimed he would don the gloves more if he could get the chance to punch Miller in the face.
“You know, I’m an old man now. I’ve been a boxer all my life. I’ve given it up because of my frailty. But I would come back to punch Stephen Miller in the nose because he is the most hideous in terms of his policy. I don’t know the guy personally,” Rivera declared.
Rivera fumed that Miller was someone who actually believed in a secure border and putting the American people first instead of importing millions of people from the third world to take jobs and remake American culture.
“In terms of his policy, he is absolutely draconian. He’s the definition of it. He doesn’t want to resolve the issue. He wants to scapegoat certain people that will in his mind… would resound favorably to President Trump,” Rivera concluded.
Stephen Miller understands that mass deportations aren’t enough.
Without turning off the magnets inside America that attract illegal aliens, a new wave of migrants will replace the ones Donald Trump ships back to their home countries.
That means workplace enforcement.
And Miller as well as the rest of the Trump team plan to make that a priority on day one.
