You never know what will happen at a Trump rally.
Donald Trump supporters got a reminder of his humanity.
And Donald Trump left the stage when the unthinkable happened after he started holding outdoor rallies again.
Donald Trump’s beefed up security
Donald Trump began holding outdoor rallies again after the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Trump’s return to the outdoor stage came speaking to a crowd in North Carolina with a speech focused on foreign policy and Kamala Harris’ failures on the world stage.
The former President spoke behind a podium protected by bullet proof glass shields.
There were crates placed strategically so someone facing the stage couldn’t get a clear shot at Trump.
Multiple counter snipers took up key positions to protect Trump.
Then in the middle of his speech, a woman collapsed after a medical event.
Trump noticed and became concerned for the woman’s health.
“A doctor, please,” Trump stated.
Trump noted that it was a hot summer day and that the crowd waited days for the event, but that the woman’s health was the most important thing.
“It is very hot here, I noticed. It’s very hot. A lot of the people waited for days to get here, so I understand it. Take your time, doctor, take your time, thank you,” Trump added.
But the words weren’t enough.
And that’s when Trump did something completely shocking.
Trump showed no concern for his own safety – even after the last time he had an outdoor rally he got shot in the head – Trump left the stage and walked over to where the woman was to check on her well being.

After making sure the woman was okay, Trump returned to the stage.
“You know, they come two days, three days early, and it’s a lot. It’s a lot of stress,” Trump continued.

The simple act of giving a hug was a remarkable display of courage and humanity for a man who was almost killed at an outdoor event little more than a month ago.
There were multiple security lapses at the Butler rally with the Secret Service letting Trump take the stage despite knowing there was a suspicious person in the crowd.
Body cam footage from local law enforcement also showed that after the assassination attempt, an officer fumed that he warned the Secret Service that the building the assassin fired from should have been included within the security perimeter.
At first, the Secret Service said it wouldn’t allow Trump to do outdoor rallies anymore.
Trump supporters wondered if that was yet another example of the Biden administration attempting to interfere in the election by restricting Trump’s ability to campaign properly.
But now Trump is back to outdoor rallies and a full campaign schedule.
And in the stretch run of the 2024 election, that could be a critical boost for Trump.
