Fox News is most certainly not the favored network of the Democrat Party.
Kamala Harris refuses to debate Donald Trump on Fox News.
And Democrats tried to embarrass Peter Doocy on live television with this dirty trick.
Democrats feed Peter Doocy bad information on Tim Walz speechÂ
Before Tim Walz took the stage at the Democratic National Convention, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy tried to get a scoop.
Political conventions are such tightly stage-managed affairs that there is little news made so networks have to try extremely hard to make some.
Doocy thought he could when he saw organizers distributing garbage bags to the delegates on the floor before Walzâs speech.
That led to Doocy hunting around for someone who would give him the skinny on what was in the bag.
âThis a big moment on a convention night and I will show you why,â Doocy told viewers. âYou notice in all the big moments and all the still pictures in the newspaper, everybody has the same sign. But nobodyâs got the signs yet. Theyâve got volunteers with garbage bags full of whatever the sign is tonight.â
The first woman Doocy spoke with refused to tell him what was in the bag.
âOk,â Doocy said in response.
âBut they wait until the very end to start distributing the garbage bags full, and there will be people, plenty left on the floor, I promise. Afterwards, if anybody up in the studio wants me to bring some. Back to you,â Doocy added.
Fox News host Bret Baier â who anchored the networkâs coverage â began to needle Doocy about not being about to score the scoop of what was in the bag.
âAn investigative reporter would see if you could get that sign,â Baier joked. âOne more try with that lady right there. How about that guy?â
Doocy took up Baier on his suggestion about asking the second convention worker about what the special sign organizers distributed for Walzâs speech was.
âWhatâs the sign tonight?â Doocy asked the man.
âGovernor Walz,â the man told Doocy.
âIt says âGovernor Walz,’â Doocy said while throwing it back to Baier and his panel.
In fact, the sign read âCoach Walz.â
Whoever Doocy talked to must have recognized him as a Fox News correspondent and fed him bad information on purpose.
âCoach Walzâ versus âGovernor Walzâ
Democrats wanted the âCoach Walzâ signs out in the hall because they want the visual for viewers at home to be of Walz, the average Midwestern dad who works the grill on summer weekends and coaches football in the fall.
That plays into the Democrat Partyâs plan of keeping the election all about âvibesâ so they donât have to get into debates about Walz and Kamala Harrisâ radical Left policy proposals.
Of course the âCoach Walzâ moniker was another one of Walzâs lies, as Walz gave the impression he was the head football coach when in reality Walz just was one of the assistants.
