The Democrat Party is facing a moment of introspection.
Losing elections will do that.
And Chris Cuomo roasted Alvin Bragg for this crime against Donald Trump.
The Ukraine impeachment hoax comes back to bite Democrats
Chris Cuomo tore into the Democrat Party over their scorched earth war against Donald Trump during an interview with Never Trumper Charlie Sykes of establishment outlet the Bulwark.
Cuomo blasted the Ukraine impeachment hoax as a “political indulgence” to satiate their base since Democrats had no real hope of convincing enough Republican Senators to vote to convict Trump and remove him from office.
“I believe that what the Democrats did to Donald Trump — which I covered which was the job — to impeach a guy when you know you have no chance of getting him removed — okay, zero chance — that was a political indulgence to do nothing but distract from the interests of the people,” Cuomo stated.
Cuomo added that Democrats – as evidenced by Joe Biden pardoning Hunter Biden – established a “standard” of conduct they had no intention of living up to.
“And you were creating an impression of a standard that you never had any intention of holding up yourself,” Cuomo added.
In the Ukraine impeachment hoax, Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi impeached Trump for asking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for help investigating Joe and Hunter Biden for corruption with regards to Hunter Biden’s actions once joining the board of directors of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company with a reputation for corruption.
Democrats and the media claimed Trump tried to strong arm Zelensky into smearing Joe Biden by withholding hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to Ukraine.
But Trump was vindicated when Joe Biden pardoned Hunter Biden for any crimes dating back to this period in time.

Cuomo also took aim at the political persecutions of Trump in New York by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Empire State Attorney General Letitia James.
Calling their cases “crap,” Cuomo said they were just politically motivated to hurt Trump in the election as opposed to legitimate law enforcement exercises.
“And the Democrats have proven the problem with their actions. Those New York cases, Charlie, were crap, and they only brought them to try to slow down Trump. We both know it,” Cuomo continued.
Cuomo then took the Democrats to task for being the so-called “defenders of democracy” but then having party elites anoint Kamala Harris as the nominee despite not one person voting for her.
“And what they did with [Vice President] Kamala Harris is proof that they don’t give a shit about any higher standard. They didn’t even allow for Democratic process in their own stupid little club where they can do whatever they want,” Cuomo concluded.
Chris Cuomo is clearly unshackled since CNN fired him.
Cuomo is a reliable liberal to be sure, but when Cuomo was at CNN, media observers now believe most of his anti-Trump hysteria grew out of editorial mandates from disgraced former CNN President Jeff Zucker who forced CNN into a resistance posture because it was good for business.
