Barack Obama still thinks he has a role to play in shaping the future of the Democrat Party.
But Obama’s efforts at aiding the rebuilding effort backfired big time.

Obama blames Trump for all the problems Obama created
In a speech at the Obama Foundation’s Democracy Forum, Barack Obama called political divisiveness “one of the greatest challenges of our time.”
Obama correctly claimed Democrats alienated too many voters with woke purity tests.
“It’s about recognizing that in a democracy, power comes from forging alliances and building coalitions… not only for the woke, but also for the waking,” Obama stated.
Obama argued Democrats could only advance their goals if they reached out to Americans they disagreed with.
“Building bridges is not contrary to equality and social justice. In fact, it is our best tool for delivering lasting change,” Obama added.
This was all well and good.
But if any President was responsible for the rise of political divisiveness and woke ideology, it was Barack Obama.
Obama tried to inflame racial tensions and incite riots after George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense.
Obama claimed Martin could have been his son, which showed Obama thought America was an irredeemably racist country where not even the son of the President of the United States was safe because he was black.
“My main message is to the parents of Trayvon Martin. You know, if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon,” Obama said at the time.
The Obama years marked by upheaval, radical shift on numerous societal issues
The Black Lives Matter movement took off with riots in Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore, Maryland following the deaths of Michael Brown and Freddie Gray.
Transgenderism took off during the Obama years with Caitlyn Jenner winning woman of the year without regard to the genitalia Jenner was born with and still retains.
Barack Obama turning the Democrat Party into the party of technocratic elites is how the left adopted the mantras of “trust the science” and “listen to the experts” during the COVID pandemic, which led them to support useless lockdowns and mandates which stole the American people’s freedom and nearly destroyed the economy.
But that wasn’t even the worst part of Obama’s speech.
Without even a hint of irony, Obama claimed Democrats need to organize against anyone who would weaponize “the judiciary or criminal justice system to go after opponents.”
“In those circumstances, a line has been crossed, and we have to stand firm and speak out and organize and mobilize as forcefully as we can,” Obama added.
With a straight face, Obama warned Democrats that they had to be on guard against Donald Trump using the Justice Department to try and jail his political opponents.
The voters rejected Barack Obama style politics in the 2024 election.
Donald Trump also obliterated the Obama coalition by making inroads with every demographic except college-educated white voters.
The message from November 5 was voters don’t want to see Obama play a prominent role in American politics.
