Democrats are playing the blame game after the election.
Fingers are being pointed in every direction but one.
And a veteran journalist revealed what Democrats are scared to say about Kamala Harris.
Democrats and the media avoided the obvious culprit for Kamala Harris’ defeat
The inevitable soul-searching and blame game is underway after Vice President Kamala Harris lost every swing state and the popular vote to President-elect Donald Trump.
Democrats and their media allies have come up with a variety of reasons that voters rejected Democrats on Election Day.
Some of her allies claim that President Joe Biden left her in a no-win position when he waited until such a late date to exit the race.
Others pinned the blame on sexism and racism as the reason Kamala lost.
Veteran political journalist Mark Halperin pointed to the problem that is staring Democrats and the media right in their faces during an appearance on Newsmax’s Newsline.
“I think that there’s been a fair amount of debate about why the Democrats think they lost the race,” Halperin said. ‘“Very little of it has pointed to her, and I think that’s partly because the people around her are loyal and they don’t want to help people write those stories, tell those stories.”
Very few on the Left have blamed Kamala for running a lousy campaign and being a bad candidate.
“But I think it’s ridiculous, given her performance, for people to remove from the equation the question of, is she a good person at running for President?” Halperin asked.
“She’s now run twice and done poorly both times, and I think it’s incumbent upon the media and Democrats — have an honest and fair discussion about whether this is the right role for her, because she’s 0 for 2 in pretty dramatic fashion,” Halperin added.
Kamala Harris was a terrible candidate
Kamala was one of the frontrunners for the Democrat Presidential nomination when she launched her campaign in 2019.
The more Democrat Primary voters saw, the less they liked her.
She dropped out of the race before a single vote was cast in the Primary.
The same problems that haunted her in the 2020 Democrat Presidential Primary cost her in this election.
She was the same bumbling, gaffe-prone candidate who flamed out of the Primary and became the most unpopular Vice President in modern history.
Her allies in the media tried to portray her as the candidate of change in the election but she was never able to make the case that she would be any different than Biden in the White House.
She told the hosts of ABC’s The View that she couldn’t think of anything differently she would done over the last four years than Biden.
Kamala spent the closing weeks of the election ranting about how Trump was going to be a dictator even though it was the same tired argument that voters had heard for nearly a decade.
She also decided to campaign with RINO Liz Cheney who has no appeal to anyone outside of CNN or MSNBC.
Kamala Harris will go down as having turned in the worst Democrat performance since Michael Dukakis in the 1988 Election.
