Cuomo told viewers of his NewsNation program that the media coverage wouldn’t be so blasé if some lunatic tried to kill Kamala Harris or Joe Biden.
Cuomo warned that America now came perilously close to complete catastrophe and that the media needs to stop downplaying the threats on Trump’s life.
“What if it was Kamala Harris or President Biden, God forbid? Do you think it would be almost a shoulder shrug and more talk about the Secret Service and allocation of funds than just how crazy it is that this is what’s happening in our country? That reaction of, well, don’t make too much of it — he had an AK-47 pointed at him! The reaction is unacceptable. And it’s the second time media and political players have gotten away with playing down what should be a cause for panic,” Cuomo began.

Cuomo then revealed that he called Donald Trump to check on him and see how his family processed the fact that deranged liberals tried to kill Trump twice in the span of two months.
Cuomo also said he passed along to Trump how sickened he was by the tenor of the media coverage of the assassination attempts.
“I called him today because I am ashamed of how we are responding and now responding to the threats on him, and I feel for his family, and I know you can roll your eyes and say he asked for it — listen, that’s your choice, and I think it’s a wrong choice. We got to get out of the judgment business unless it’s judging ourselves,” Cuomo added.
The press wants Americans to forget about the attempts to murder Trump.
Journalists don’t want Americans humanizing Trump because it might help him in the election.
Proper coverage of the assassination attempts would also force the media to confront the unhinged and dangerous rhetoric Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and members of the press deploy when speaking about Trump in how they compare him to Hitler or falsely claim he will end democracy in America.
