So much for lowering the temperature.
Hillary Clinton cranked it up to boiling.
And Hillary Clinton’s reaction to the Trump assassination attempt will put your jaw on the ground.
Hillary Clinton doubles down on incendiary rhetoric about Donald Trump
A second assassination attempt against Donald Trump wasn’t enough to get Hillary Clinton to cool her jets on attacking Donald Trump.
Even though this assassin repeated the lie about how “democracy was on the line” in this election, Hillary Clinton told Rachel Maddow that the press needed to escalate the attacks on Donald Trump.
“And I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for the press to have a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is. The late, great journalist Harry Evans one time said that journalists should really try to achieve objectivity. And by that, he said, I mean, they should cover the object,” Clinton began.
Even though many Americans saw a clear through line between the lies Democrats told about Trump being a threat to democracy and the attempts on his life, Clinton continued to smear Trump as a “danger” to America.
“Well, the object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world, and stick with it. They were merciless about what they saw as President Biden’s problems in the debate and calling for him to withdraw. I believe Donald Trump has disqualified himself over and over and over again to be a presidential candidate, let alone a president,” Clinton added.
Clinton also repeated the lie that Donald Trump wants to be a dictator and that he will impose Project 2025 on America if elected.
“And it’s just, like with a shrug, OK, fine we’re moving on. Well, Americans need to understand that they have to take Trump both seriously and literally. He has said what he wants to do. He and his allies with Project 2025, his desire to be a dictator, at least on day one, all of that is in the public record,” Clinton continued.
The danger is in front of everyone
Hillary Clinton poisoned American politics with the Steele dossier.
Much of the acrimony in American politics is owed to Hillary and her campaign not being able to process her defeat and inventing the Russia collusion hoax to excuse her loss.
The FBI picked up the lie that Clinton’s campaign invented and used it as the basis for an attempted coup to overthrow Trump.
Trump and his supporters felt under siege from day one as they saw the machinery of the U.S. intelligence community weaponized against Trump to subvert his administration and free and fair elections.
Clinton is now treading into even more dangerous waters.
Democrat rhetoric about Republicans nearly got the then-House Majority Leader, Steve Scalise, and other Republican lawmakers killed in 2017 as they practiced at a local baseball field for the annual Congressional baseball game.
Trump nearly died because of lies about how he threatens democracy.
And Hillary Clinton’s response is to turn up the gas on these falsehoods.
