Tim Walz selection as Kamala Harris’ running mate raises eyebrows
Tim Walz started out as nobody’s idea of a Vice-Presidential frontrunner.
Walz was the unknown Governor of Minnesota who hailed from the socialist wing of the Democrat Party and sat on his hands as his state began to burn during the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020.
So, everyone wondered how it was that Walz ended up on the ticket.
The coup against Joe Biden showed that the voters aren’t in charge of the Democrat Party.
And even though they are the sitting President and Vice President, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris certainly don’t hold the reins.
It’s Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and a handful of their billionaire donors who run the party.
And Walz was reportedly the pick for Barack Obama.
Jesse Watters tried to make sense of why Harris didn’t go for more well-known Democrats who hailed from swing states like Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, or Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.
Watters told viewers that Walz quit on the soldiers under his command and walked away from his National Guard commission upon finding out that his unit would deploy to Iraq the same way he abandoned police officers during the Black Lives Matter riots.
Watters said Democrats wanted to fool voters into thinking Walz was some kind of centrist because of the “vibes” of being an old white guy from the Midwest who used to coach high school football.
“When soldiers, police, and families needed Walz the most, he walked away. This is a trick pick. Democrats think they can trick you with an old white guy from the Midwest,” Watters began.
Watters explained that if Democrats were to tell the American people the truth about what they really believe, they would never be able to win elections.
“But he’s a freak in sheep’s clothing. Democrats can’t be honest about who they are. They have to lie to you and hide their positions,” Watters stated.
Where Obama comes in
Watters said that Barack Obama never wanted Kamala Harris.
When Joe Biden dropped out of the race, Obama endorsed an open convention believing that Harris could never beat Donald Trump.
But Joe Biden headed Obama off at the pass and endorsed Harris, causing the entire party to unite around her.
Obama had one more card to play and that involved his self-described “wingman” Eric Holder.
Harris named Holder to run the vetting process for her running mate.
“But there’s something else going on here. Obama didn’t want Kamala. He wanted an open convention. But Biden endorsed her before Barack could make a move. So Barack put Eric Holder, his wingman, in charge of Kamala’s VP vetting. And Holder just served up Walz, creating the craziest ticket in history,” Watters added.
Obama’s wingman in charge of the Vice-Presidential vetting led to Obama’s candidate getting the nod.
Watters didn’t see that as a coincidence.
As 24/7 Politics previously reported, Obama likely arranged the Walz pick to ensure none of the other big name Democrats get attached to a potential Harris loss to preserve their viability in 2028.
Watters thinks so.
“Is Walz just a sacrificial lamb? Do they know they’re going to lose? Because all the talented Democrats are being kept on ice for 28. Newsom, Shapiro, Gretchen Whitmer. So when Harris-Walz loses, then Barack can say, see, far left, I told you so. We tried it your way, now we do it my way,” Watters concluded.
