Kamala Harris picked far-left Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
The press hailed it as a stroke of genius.
But J.D. Vance dropped the hammer on Tim Walz with this sick reality check.
Vance slams Walz pick
Vance performed the traditional role of a running mate by following Kamala Harris around and holding events slamming her record in office.
The first event on Vance’s tour took place in Pennsylvania, the state where Harris unveiled Tim Walz as her running mate.
Vance took press questions and said he didn’t want to spend too much time on Walz at first because, given the Democrat Party’s recent history, he couldn’t be sure who would be on the ticket until the convention formally nominated them.
“So first of all, the reason I didn’t say a whole lot about Tim Walz is because the Democrats have showed a willingness to pull a little switcheroo on us. So I don’t even know if we’re actually going to get Tim Walz out of this campaign. And I think that a lot of us are asking ourselves, well, it’s not going to be official until the Democrats actually nominate him, I guess at their convention next week,” Vance began.
Vance then explained that the Walz pick said a lot about Kamala Harris, and none of it was good, as she only picked Walz after the Hamas wing of the Democrat Party vetoed Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro because he’s Jewish.
“The second reason is, look, Tim Walz’s record is a joke! He’s been one of the most far-left radicals in the entire United States government at any level. But I think that what Tim Waltz’s selection says is that Kamala Harris has bent the knee to the far-left of her party, which is what she always does. Kamala Harris listened to the Hamas wing of the party,” Vance continued.
Walz’s liberal record
Vance then tore into Walz’s record of supporting the globalist agenda of shipping jobs to Communist China and opening America’s border to mobs of illegal aliens.
“She selected Tim Walz, a guy who wants to ship more manufacturing jobs to China, who wants to give illegal aliens drivers’ licenses, and who wants to make the fentanyl crisis that we just heard about so much worse because he refuses to do his job and actually make it easier for American citizens and not illegal aliens to live a good life,” Vance continued.
Vance said that picking Walz meant that Harris was making it clear to the American people that if elected she would govern like the “San Francisco liberal” that she truly is.
“So I think what it says is that Kamala Harris is running as a San Francisco liberal, she has governed as a San Francisco liberal, and she’s chosen a running mate who will be a San Francisco-style liberal,” Vance added.
Vance then said that Harris and Walz were perfect complements to each other due to their roles in encouraging the Black Lives Matter insurrection in the summer of 2020.
“The last thing that I’ll say about Tim Waltz is, to her credit, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to do make an interesting team, because if we remember the rioting in the summer of 2020, Tim Walz was the guy who let rioters burned down Minneapolis, and then Kamala Harris was the one who bailed the riders out of jail. So there’s an interesting team in that sense,” Vance concluded.
Walz’ record adds more fodder to an already target-rich environment for Republicans to go on the attack against Harris on her record and competency.
Many on the Right cheered the selection as it showed Harris was hostage to the Democrat Party’s far-left base and power brokers.
Harris either couldn’t see that handing Republican a San Francisco-Minneapolis ticket to run against would come back to haunt her, is totally insecure, or doesn’t hold enough sway in her own party to push back against Barack Obama and Eric Holder, who it’s becoming more and more clear hand-picked Walz for the ticket.
Now it’s up to Donald Trump and J.D. Vance to make that case to the voters.
