The D.C. swamp is out to get Vice President J.D. Vance.
But Vance knows how to throw a punch.
And J.D. Vance called out this Fox News star for being the biggest hack in Washington.
The GOP establishment and the D.C. swamp have had it out for J.D. Vance ever since Donald Trump named him his running mate.
Swamp insiders and RINOs hate the fact that Vance opposes endless war in Ukraine and the Middle East.
And the warmongers are in panic mode over the fact that J.D. Vance could be the GOP nominee in 2028 and cement President Trump’s America First foreign policy as the dominant ideology in the Republican Party.
Fox News contributor and Jewish Insider editor-in-chief Josh Kraushaar ran an article headlined “Vance’s reluctance to support Houthi strikes concerns some leading GOP senators” attacking Vance over texts from the infamous Signal group chat showing Vance initially opposed the idea of bombing the Houthi rebels arguing that America was once again bailing out Europe and paying for their defense.
Jewish Insider quoted a number of anonymous Republican Senators whining about Vance putting America First.
One Senator complained Vance wouldn’t go to war on behalf of Israel.
“It was shocking to me that he didn’t see the need to strike back when they struck our naval vessels. That’s not a British problem or a European problem. Frankly, them striking our friends in Israel is more than enough justification. It’s the Tucker Carlson view of how to use military power,” the GOP Senator whined.
A second claimed President Trump must be second guessing his decision to pick Vance as his Vice President.
“I’ve gotta wonder if Trump’s looking at this and going, ‘What have I done?’” the Senator exclaimed.
A third Senator lamented that Vance’s opposition to the war in Ukraine and war in the Middle East would become the dominant foreign policy strain in the Republican Party.
“It surprised me, but you know, he has been against helping Ukraine, so it’s probably consistent. But yes, it does worry me about the party’s direction [on foreign policy]. I think he has a very narrow view of when the United States should be involved in the world,” a third GOP Senator told Jewish Insider.
A fourth Senator admitted just how out of step the Senate GOP caucus was with the base claiming Vance’s view was a minority among Senate Republicans but that it didn’t matter because Vance could be the nominee in 2028.
“If that was his analysis, I don’t think there are a lot of people here that share that analysis, just as very few agreed with him that it wasn’t in the U.S. interest to resource the Ukrainian freedom fighters. When he began talking, we were never persuaded by his arguments,” the Senator stated. “There may have been one or two that were actually persuaded, but that in the end doesn’t matter much if this is the direction we’re headed in.”
Vance plays by Donald Trump’s rules of never letting a punch go unanswered.
The Vice President called out Kraushaar for turning Jewish Insider into “an anti-JD rag” where establishment RINOs go to vent about the MAGA base.
Vance also slammed the anonymous Republican Senators who wanted to trash talk him, but knew that attaching their names to the quotes would invite primary challenges.
“This morning, @JoshKraushaar ran a hit piece against me in Jewish Insider, which has become an anti-JD rag. It has many problems, including seven anonymous quotes from cowardly Republicans,” Vance wrote.
Vance then called out Jewish Insider for fake news for falsely claiming Vance wanted to give the Houthis a pass for killing Americans when it was the Islamic Resistance in Iraq responsible for the deaths of three Americans.
“But the most glaring factual error is the below, which says the Houthis killed three Americans last January. Actually, the group responsible for that attack was ‘Islamic Resistance in Iraq,’ which is an entirely different militia group,” Vance added.
Vance said running an error-filled hit piece like this could qualify Kraushaar as the “biggest hack in Washington” but that Vance would say it means he’s just really dumb.
“Now, you might say this is evidence of Kraushaar being the biggest hack in Washington, and you *may* be correct. Another very plausible explanation is that he’s the dumbest journalist in Washington. Either way, shocking an error like this could get through his vaunted editorial process!” Vance concluded.
