Kamala Harris’ Fox News interview leaves supporters baffled
Even allies couldn’t believe how badly Kamala Harris bombed her interview with Bret Baier.
Kamala Harris went on Fox News in hopes of reaching Trump-skeptical, center-right voters.
Instead of appealing to them on the grounds that she would govern as a moderate, Kamala Harris dug in her heels on support for open borders.
The first question was about immigration, and Kamala Harris refused to say how many illegal aliens she smuggled into the country in her time as Border Czar.
And Kamala Harris then claimed amnesty was central to her plans to reform America’s immigration system.

Former Fox News host Geraldo Rivera recently announced he endorsed Kamala Harris for President.
Rivera claimed Trump was a “sore loser” and pushed the big lie about Trump being a threat to democracy.
But in an interview with NewsNation’s Dan Abrams, Rivera was appalled that Kamala Harris’ handlers didn’t prepare a better answer for her on immigration.

“I am baffled by the lack of preparation going into the highest profile interview she has,” Rivera stated.
Rivera said Kamala Harris had to know she was going to get hit with a question about Laken Riley and the other young women killed by illegal aliens that Kamala Harris let into the country.
But rather than take responsibility for the failed policies that led to these young women’s deaths, Kamala Harris got her back up.
“For example, she knew, they knew, the Democrats knew that it was going to be all about immigration. Bret was going to come out smoking on immigration, and he would culminate his lament over how awful the situation is with pictures of the victims. That’s the Republican playbook, it’s obvious that it was coming. How could she not be ready to answer Laken Riley and Mollie Tibbetts and so forth?” Rivera asked.
But Rivera proposed a course of action that would have landed Kamala Harris in even deeper trouble.
“Why couldn’t the Vice President say these as she did that these are tragic deaths and the hearts go out and punched in the gut by it, but also say that these people or these poor victims are being used for political purposes. To me, that’s politics 101,” Rivera continued.
Rivera argued Democrats should go on offense on immigration.
“From this moment on, I advise them to not be the doormat when it comes to this issue,” Rivera concluded. “It’s their biggest Achilles heel.”
That would be an even bigger Godsend to Donald Trump.
If Kamala Harris went on offense on immigration, that would mean the entire last two-and-half weeks would focus on the border – an issue where polls show Donald Trump holds his biggest lead over Kamala Harris.
