For the last three and a half years, Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden worked as one.
But that’s all out the window, and the Biden team is out for payback.
And Karine Jean-Pierre just insulted Nancy Pelosi in one vicious way.
Joe Biden begins revenge tour against Democrats who ousted him
Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was the ringleader of the coup that forced Joe Biden to abandon his re-election campaign following the disastrous June 27th Presidential debate.
On that night, Biden demonstrated to the American people definitively that he was senile.
Former House Speaker Pelosi flexed her continued power after she and other Democrats were happy to cover up Biden’s mental deterioration, up until the point where it put the party’s chance of winning control of the House and Senate in jeopardy.
Even though Pelosi and Biden were close friends and allies for 40 years, Pelosi adopted the mantra from the Godfather movie and led a pressure campaign to force Biden out of the race, saying it was nothing personal, just strictly business.
The wounds on the part of Biden and his team have yet to heal.
In the first sign that Biden will try to exact revenge, the administration snubbed Pelosi of an invite to the Italian-American Heritage event held at the White House.
Biden’s underlings didn’t hide the fact that declining to invite the highest ranking Italian politician in America from an event honoring her ethnic heritage was anything but payback.
“I don’t have anything to share with you on that,” Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters about the lack of an invite to Pelosi.
Nancy Pelosi tries to make amends
Nancy Pelosi knows she’s on the outs with Biden.
The former Speaker of the House said in an interview with The Guardian’s Politics Weekly America podcast that the last time she spoke to Biden was July 21, the day he announced he wasn’t seeking re-election.
“Not since then, no,” Pelosi said when asked if she’s spoken with Biden since Biden tapped out due to her pressure campaign. “But I’m prayerful about it.”
Pelosi tried to butter up Biden with praise.
“I have the greatest respect for him. I think he’s one of the great consequential presidents of our country,” Pelosi continued.
Pelosi also couched the coup she implemented to remove Biden as the Democrat Party nominee for President as being in Biden’s best interest.
“I think his legacy had to be protected. I didn’t see that happening in the course that it was on, the election was on,” Pelosi continued.
That’s because Pelosi knew that if Biden stayed in the race, he was on course to lose a landslide election to Donald Trump.
Had that happened, Leftist historians and journalists would have treated Biden like one of the all-time villains for remaining in the race and losing to Donald Trump.
Pelosi told The Guardian that she knew Biden wanted to stay in the race, but that was an unacceptable outcome for her, and that her move against Biden ended their friendship.
“Let’s get on a better course. He will make the decision as to what that is. And he made that decision. But I think he has some unease because we’ve been friends for decades,” Pelosi continued.
But in the end, Pelosi’s machinations may not matter because polls show Biden’s replacement Kamala Harris is also an underdog against Donald Trump.
