DHS Watchdog Just Exposed the Details Behind Biden FEMA Workers Who Skipped Trump Supporters’ Homes After a Hurricane

FEMA supervisor Marn'i Washington walked into a hurricane disaster zone and reportedly told her crew to avoid any home displaying a Trump sign.

Now the DHS Inspector General has released its final report, and Biden administration officials have nowhere left to hide.

The federal government has officially confirmed exactly what Biden's FEMA supervisors did to eleven Florida families in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton.

Biden's FEMA Supervisor Named Names and Gave the Order on Paper

Washington's instruction to her Disaster Survivor Assistance crew was explicit: skip homes advertising Trump.

Eleven families in Lake Placid, Florida had their homes destroyed or damaged by Hurricane Milton – a Category 3 storm that hit in October 2024 – and FEMA walked right past every one of them.

These families were not ineligible for assistance.

They were not in inaccessible areas.

They flew Trump flags, and Biden's FEMA supervisor decided that made them unworthy of relief.

The DHS Office of Inspector General released its final report on August 18, 2026 – OIG-26-21 – and the findings are unambiguous.

FEMA's conduct was unlawful.

It violated the Hatch Act, which prohibits political discrimination in federal programs.

It violated FEMA's own agency standards requiring impartial assistance to all disaster victims.

And the Inspector General found systemic failures in "training, documentation, and oversight" that allowed the discrimination to happen and go unchallenged internally.

Washington was fired.

Three additional supervisors who failed to stop the conduct were fired in March 2025 after a separate investigation.

DHS referred the entire case to the Department of Justice for potential criminal charges in October 2025.

But here is the number that should make every American's blood run cold: FEMA canvassed 744,288 properties following Hurricanes Helene and Milton combined, and had no contact at 555,374 of them.

Biden's team was never accountable for how many of those properties were skipped for political reasons.

The Whistleblowers Knew Two Years Before the Federal Report

This story did not break on August 26, 2026.

Whistleblowers inside FEMA revealed the Lake Placid incident nearly two years earlier, in late 2024.

The Daily Wire published the initial bombshell reporting.

The political class ignored it.

Democrat media outlets dismissed it.

Biden's White House never addressed it.

It took a change in administration, a full DHS investigation, and a formal Inspector General report to force an official accounting of what those eleven Florida families already lived through.

They already knew what the IG report confirmed: Biden's federal government sent workers into their neighborhood, and those workers passed their damaged homes because of a Trump flag in the yard.

That is not incompetence.

That is deliberate, targeted discrimination using federal disaster relief as a weapon.

The concept of FEMA as a nonpartisan emergency service – funded by taxpayers of every political affiliation, available to every American in crisis – was something Biden's team quietly treated as optional.

What Happens When the Federal Government Decides Your Flag Determines Your Worth

The DHS finding matters because it is now official federal record.

This is not a conservative blog post or a partisan allegation.

The Department of Homeland Security's Inspector General put it in writing: Biden's FEMA violated federal law by skipping homes based on political signage.

The DOJ now has a criminal referral sitting on its desk, and Marn'i Washington could face federal charges for deciding which hurricane victims deserved help based on their yard signs.

The eleven Lake Placid families did not vote for this.

They paid their taxes, bought their homes, displayed their political beliefs on their own property, and got hit by a hurricane.

Biden's FEMA crew drove past them.

This is not a one-off story about one rogue supervisor.

Washington gave the order, but the system was built in a way that let her give it.

The question for every American who has ever put a political sign in their yard: do you believe this only happened in Lake Placid?
