Former First Lady Michelle Obama isn’t leaving any room for interpretation.
She wants the whole world to know what she thinks of Donad Trump.
And Michelle Obama disrespected Donald Trump with this unforgivable insult.
Former Presidents, and First Ladies traditionally attend the inauguration.
Their attendance is a symbol that leaders of both parties recognize the legitimacy of the election outcome and that – at least for one day – the country can unite behind the President.
But Michelle Obama’s Trump Derangement Syndrome is out of control.
The Former First Lady’s office released a statement announcing that she wouldn’t attend Trump’s inauguration.
Barack Obama, however, would attend.
“Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former First Lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration,” the statement read.
Michelle Obama also refused to attend Jimmy Carter’s funeral.
Obama’s office claimed there was a scheduling conflict that prevented her from leaving Hawaii to attend the funeral.
“Former first lady Michelle Obama was noticeably absent from former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral at the Washington National Cathedral on Thursday. She had a scheduling conflict and is in Hawaii, according to a person familiar with her schedule,” a report from POLITICO read.
“Michelle Obama would have been seated next to former President Donald Trump, who instead sat next to former President Barack Obama. The two chatted for several minutes before the funeral began,” the report continued.
A “scheduling conflict” is about as weak an excuse as a public figure can offer for why they won’t attend an event.
It’s about as believable as when a public figure says they are resigning a position of power to spend more time with their family.
Michelle Obama didn’t want to go to Jimmy Carter’s funeral because Barack Obama was slated to sit next to Donald Trump since the Presidents in attendance were seated in the order in which they held office.
In the case of the inauguration, Michelle Obama didn’t even bother to offer a flimsy cover story for why she wouldn’t attend.
It’s obvious that she hates Donald Trump and the idea of watching Trump take the oath of office would make her brain melt.
Michelle Obama showed signs of being completely unhinged during the campaign.
During a rally in Michigan, Michelle Obama flew off the handle and claimed that men who voted for Donald Trump should be prepared to see the women in their lives psychologically tortured, maimed, or killed if Trump won.
“We all know we have a lot more work to do in this country. But to anyone out there thinking about sitting out this election or voting for Donald Trump or a third-party candidate in protest because you’re fed up, let me warn you: Your rage does not exist in a vacuum. If we don’t get this election right, your wife, your daughter, your mother, we as women will become collateral damage to your rage,” Obama ranted.
At the time, it was easy to chalk up such unhinged talk as overheated rhetoric in the final days of the campaign.
But now it’s clear that Michelle Obama really was losing her mind over the prospect of a Trump comeback.
