Tim Walz let $9 billion in welfare money vanish from Minnesota on his watch.
His daughter just went on TikTok to throw a tantrum at JD Vance.
What she said would be embarrassing enough on its own – but what it could mean for her father’s future is something else entirely.
What Hope Walz Actually Said
The 24-year-old social worker and TikTok personality launched into Vance with everything she had.
"JD Vance is a pick me loser who has had to resort to making shit up in order to cover the fact that this administration is doing everything that they said they wouldn't during the campaign," she declared – without offering a single specific example.
She said Vance "paid his way onto a national ticket."
She said he has "not one ounce of charisma."
She challenged him to run a half marathon with her and her dad.
And she dared him to have a conversation with Tim Walz – apparently forgetting that Vance already debated Tim Walz on national television, in front of tens of millions of viewers, and won.
The Trump administration has delivered on illegal alien deportations, ended the chemical and surgical mutilation of children in federal programs, and put America First on trade.
Those are the things that sent Hope Walz to TikTok in a rage.
The Father She Wants Vance to Talk To
Here is what Hope Walz did not mention in her angry video.
Her father, former Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, is the man at the center of one of the largest government fraud scandals in American history.
Federal prosecutors estimated that criminals stole more than $9 billion – billion, with a B – from Minnesota's welfare programs under his watch.

More than 90 people were charged, the vast majority of Somali descent.
Congressional investigators found evidence that Walz attended a 2021 meeting where he appeared to back Somali business leaders who were later convicted for their role in the Feeding Our Future scheme – a fraud operation that falsely claimed to be feeding needy children during COVID-19 while the money went elsewhere.
Republicans on the House Oversight Committee pressed Walz on when he personally learned of the fraud and why his administration did not move faster to stop the payments once concerns emerged.
He had no good answers.
He dropped out of his 2026 reelection campaign rather than face voters.
The Audacity
Hope Walz called JD Vance a loser.
Vance is the sitting Vice President of the United States.
Her father is the man who presided over a $9 billion welfare fraud operation and testified before Congress about his failures.
She said Vance has "not one ounce of charisma."
Her father stood on the 2024 debate stage and forgot whether he had guns in his house – a story he had been telling for years.
She said Vance "paid his way onto a national ticket."
Her father was handed his spot on the ticket after the Democrat Party shoved out a sitting president who had won his primary – the same Joe Biden they called sharp and capable right up until the moment they didn't.
The left has a word for people who attack others while their own house burns down.
They call it projection.
The Democrats Have Done This Before
The Walz family is not the first Democrat family to try this move.
While Hunter Biden was under federal investigation for tax fraud and illegal gun charges – and Joe Biden was busy telling America his son had done nothing wrong – Hunter was going on a podcast to claim Republicans were trying to "kill" him to hurt his father's presidency.
The family of a scandal-plagued Democrat going on offense is not a spontaneous reaction – it is a strategy.
When Tim Walz cannot defend himself in the arena, Hope Walz takes to TikTok.
The pattern is always the same: distract, attack, redirect.
Make the story about JD Vance's charisma instead of a $9 billion fraud that happened on Tim Walz's watch.
Vance appeared on The View this week – walked into a room full of people who hate him, kept smiling the entire time, pushed back on every attack, and called out false statements politely and directly.
He is the Vice President of a country that is winning again.
Hope Walz is on TikTok rage-posting because she cannot stand watching her father lose while Vance wins – and the scoreboard is not close.
She wants Vance to sit down with Tim Walz and "talk about things."
Maybe they could start with where $9 billion went.
