Robert De Niro unleashed this big lie on Donald Trump

Sep 18, 2024

Robert De Niro is a Hollywood legend.

But De Niro is also the poster child for Trump Derangement Syndrome.

And now Robert De Niro unleashed this big lie on Donald Trump.

Robert De Niro falsely claims Trump is a dictator

Robert De Niro’s catalogue of anti-Trump rants is more extensive than his list of memorable film roles.

CNN’s Chris Wallace let De Niro rant and rave during their recent interview for Wallace’s TV show.

Wallace teed up De Niro to launch into a tirade on the media’s favorite lie about Donald Trump – that he’s a wannabe tyrant who will turn America into a dictatorship.

In the interview, Wallace asked De Niro if he thought Trump would declare himself emperor for life and refuse to leave office when his term ended.

“You know he won’t,” De Niro exclaimed.

De Niro then cited a disputed anecdote from Trump-hating reporter Maggie Haberman’s book where she claims Trump told her, “I’ll never leave!”

“He even said it. He’s never going to give it up. And anyone who deludes himself thinking that he is, shame on you!”  De Niro ranted.

De Niro – who is best known for his roles in mob movies The Godfather Part II, Goodfellas, and Casino – then declared, “he thinks he’s a gangster.”

Playing a gangster on screen apparently gave De Niro insight into what real life mobsters thought about Donald Trump.

And De Niro claimed the code that mafia members lived under would lead them to scorn Trump.

“He does everything like a gangster. I don’t think gangsters of that world would think much of him because there’s honor among thieves,” De Niro added.

The idea that Donald Trump will refuse to leave office is – of course – a lie.

All Americans need to do is look at Trump’s history.

Trump left the White House at the appointed time when his term ended, and Joe Biden took over.

Robert De Niro’s history of anti-Trump conspiracy theories

Liberals are allowed to float whatever misinformation and conspiracy theories they want without ever being held accountable.

Back in May, De Niro claimed if Trump won in November that Trump would have him arrested.

“If he wins the election, you won’t be on the show anymore. He’ll come looking for me. There’ll be things that happen that none of us can imagine,” De Niro told Bill Maher.

De Niro claimed that restoring normalcy meant voting for an obviously cognitively incapacitated President.

“We wanna live in a world that we want to live in and enjoy living in, or live in a nightmare? Vote for Trump and you’ll get the nightmare, vote for Biden and we’ll be back to normalcy,” De Niro stated at the time.

De Niro also admitted he wanted Trump to lose because politics so consumed his life that he couldn’t process Trump winning in 2016 without falling into depression.

“I just don’t want to feel the way I did the many months after the election in 2016, where we couldn’t believe that it happened,” De Niro concluded. “He’s such a mean, nasty, hateful person.”
