The media tried to create trouble after Brittany Mahomes’ good friend Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for President following the September 10 debate.
Sports writers sought to put Patrick Mahomes in the middle of his wife supporting Donald Trump and his teammate Travis Kelce’s girlfriend backing Kamala Harris.
The sports media is even more liberal than the political media.
And that means the sports media is even more fanatical about the Left’s belief that politics is an all-consuming force in American life and that a person’s worth is determined by who they vote for.
The media confronted Mahomes ahead of the Chiefs week 2 tilt with the Cincinnati Bengals about comments Donald Trump made on Fox & Friends praising his wife when asked about Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris.
“I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better if you want to know the truth. She’s a big Trump fan,” Trump told the show’s co-hosts.
“I like Brittany. I think Brittany’s great,” Trump added.
When asked about Trump’s comments, Mahomes praised his wife’s charitable instincts.
“I think you see Brittany does a lot in the community,” Mahomes told reporters.
“I do a lot in the community to help bring people up and give people an opportunity to use their voice,” Mahomes added.
Mahomes explained that he couldn’t let politics be a distraction or effect the way he goes about living his life.
“In political times, people are going to use stuff here and there, but I can’t let that affect how I go about my business every single day of my life and trying to live it to the best of my ability,” Mahomes added.
“At the end of the day, it’s about me and my family and how we treat other people,” Mahomes continued.

“I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way,” Mahomes declared. “I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote. It’s to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”
