Democrats lied about Hunter Biden laptop to win in 2020
Big Tech censoring the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story marred the 2020 election.
Facebook and Twitter suppressed the reporting about the evidence on the hard drive of emails implicating Joe Biden in alleged foreign influence peddling because the Biden campaign organized 51 former intelligence community officials to claim the laptop was Russian disinformation.
The media and Big Tech went along after the Left spent four years descending into madness over lies about Donald Trump colluding with the Russians.
Jen Psaki was one of the Biden campaign officials tweeting about the letter from former intelligence officials.

Psaki’s letter was the political equivalent of “working the refs” – i.e. pressuring their allies in the media not to do their own reporting about the Biden family’s shady foreign deals and if the millions Hunter Biden raked in from oligarchs in Russia, Communist China, and Ukraine compromised Joe Biden.
Biden then stood in front of tens of millions of Americans at the final Presidential debate and lied about Hunter Biden’s laptop being Russian disinformation.
“There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant,” Biden declared. “… Five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except his good friend Rudy Giuliani.”
The laptop lie debunked
Hunter Biden’s trial on charges of lying about his drug use on a federal firearms background check form drove a stake through the heart of this lie and vindicated the Post’s reporting.
Prosecutors introduced the laptop as evidence because the pictures on the hard drive documented Hunter Biden’s substance abuse.
FBI Special Agent Erika Jensen testified that the FBI confirmed the laptop’s authenticity.
“She said the laptop was obtained by the FBI with a subpoena from The Mac Shop in Wilmington where it had been ‘abandoned’ by Hunter. She said that investigators corroborated content on the laptop with content in Hunter’s iCloud that they obtained from Apple with a subpoena,” New York Post columnist Miranda Devine – who broke the laptop story reported from the trial.
Devine added that prosecutor Derek Hines walked Jensen through how the FBI authenticated the emails and text messages on the laptop.
“Hines then proceeded to go through WhatsApp and text messages and images and documents from the laptop and iCloud with Jensen to make his case that Hunter was using drugs before during and after the period that he bought and possessed the handgun after allegedly signing a background check form on October 12 2018 saying he was not a drug user,” Devine also wrote.
Laptop fallout
To this day Joe Biden, Jen Psaki, and the rest of the Biden campaign officials have never answered for why they misled the American people during the 2020 election.
Suppressing the evidence of Joe Biden’s corruption influenced the outcome of the election.
But the lack of media curiosity at the misinformation from the Biden campaign about the laptop is why Americans waive off all the so-called “fact checkers” and accountability reporters who run around calling Donald Trump a liar and a threat to democracy.
