Kamala Harris’ Presidential campaign is a comedy of errors.
The Democrat Party nominee really can’t get out of her own way.
And Greg Gutfeld roasted Kamala Harris for this embarrassing moment.
Kamala Harris’ staged town hall becomes latest source of mockery
A town hall event is a staple of Presidential campaigns.
Presidential hopefuls field questions in an intimate setting with the goal of allowing voters to develop a more personal connection to the candidate.
Kamala Harris couldn’t even get this right.
Her campaign staged – and staged being the operative word – a town hall event in Michigan with RINO former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, which was moderated by Maria Shriver, the wife of Hollywood megastar Arnold Schwarzenegger.
One attendee wondered if members of the audience would get to ask questions.
Shriver said no, as all the questions were scripted in advance.
“You’re not, unfortunately, we have some predetermined questions, and I hopefully — I’ll be able to ask some of the questions that might be in your head. I hope so,” Shriver admitted.
Greg Gutfeld had a field day with this scene in an op-ed he wrote for Foxnews.com.
Gutfeld joked about how Kamala Harris couldn’t answer scripted questions that she knew were coming in advance, such as her multiple failed attempts to answer how she would do anything different than Joe Biden.
“Yeah. Sorry, toots. Sorry, toots, you’re just a prop. Come on. We didn’t even give you a primary and you think we’re going to let you ask unscripted questions? Hell, Kamala can’t even answer scripted questions if we give her a week in advance,” Gutfeld wrote.
Kamala Harris’ word saladÂ
Gutfeld said he did come for the word salads and didn’t leave disappointed.
“But look, I watched the town hall for only one reason: hoping to hear one more time about the nature of a democracy, where I think there’s a duality,” Gutfeld stated.
And sure enough, Kamala Harris delivered one of her signature word salads.
“The nature of a democracy is such that I think there’s a duality. On the one hand, there’s an incredible strength when our democracy is intact and incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. There’s great strength in that. And it is very fragile. It is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it,” Kamala Harris rambled.
As Kamala Harris slid in the battleground state polls, her handlers knew they had to put her out in front of the voters more.
That led to Kamala Harris embarking on a disastrous media tour that only served to turn more voters towards Donald Trump.
Democrats set up a 100-day campaign sprint by replacing Joe Biden at the last possible moment, knowing that Kamala Harris was a flawed and bad candidate.
The Left gambled that the compressed calendar would allow them to hide her drawbacks from the public.
That gambit appears to have failed.
