Franklin Graham just gave a top Republican a brutal reality check about saving America

America is in crisis.

But what is the solution?

Now Franklin Graham just gave a top Republican a brutal reality check about saving America.

Franklin Graham says a renewed faith in Christ can restore the soul of America

Reverend Franklin Graham used the National Day of Prayer to condemn the anti-Semitic protests raging on college campuses as a jumping off point to address the spiritual void in America.

America hasn’t seen hate like the bile spewed forth from these liberal mobs in decades.

It’s leading many to wonder what’s the solution.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) responded with a misguided law that was written to make certain Bible verses hate crimes in the name of combating anti-Semitism – the latest in a string of moves by the embattled Speaker that have drawn the ire of conservatives.

Graham believed there was a simpler, more time-tested answer for the country’s problems.

“Our country is in a real mess, and we see the hatred that is on our college campuses,” Graham stated.

“The hatred that is around the world,” Rev. Graham declared, isn’t limited to Hamas-supporting thugs on university campuses.

The answer, according to Graham, was a turn to Jesus and His message.

Graham also pointed out that “Jesus understood hatred” better than any person who ever lived.

Jesus died for our sins because of the fear and hatred in the hearts of those who condemned Him.

In reality, it was their hate that killed Jesus, and Jesus willingly gave himself up to save everyone else.

“They nailed him to a tree, and He willingly gave His life and he died. He shed His blood and was buried for our sins. He understands hate,” Graham continued.

Graham says Jesus’ message is the way

Graham explained that the only cure for hatred that rests in the hearts of men is the message of Christ.

Citing verse John 14:6, Graham quoted Jesus as saying, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

“And the only one who can change the human heart is God, and that’s by putting our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, who came to save us from our sins by dying in our place on that cross, shedding his own blood, and on the third day, walking right out of that grave,” Graham added.

Graham told his fellow believers that Jesus would reach everyone as the current time of division and strife meant His message was needed now more than ever.

“He’ll come at each and every heart,” Graham predicted, saying that America’s “greatest need” is for ”changed hearts.”

Graham also celebrated National Prayer Day with another verse from scripture.

Graham cited Colossians 4:2, in which the Apostle Paul, writing to the Church at Colosse about Jesus’ teachings, encourages everyone to “continue steadfastly in prayer being watchful with thanksgiving.”
