Democrats and media push a hoax over Trump’s shooting
Former President Donald Trump was grazed in the ear by a bullet from gunmen at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Democrats created an absurd conspiracy theory around Trump’s near assassination.
They claimed that he was never actually shot and it was pieces of shrapnel from a teleprompter that injured his ear.
Photographs from the rally show that the teleprompter wasn’t shot.
But that won’t stop the conspiracy-addled minds on the Left from pushing a new hoax against Trump.
They were mad that Trump showed courage under fire when he raised his fist up and urged the crowd to fight.
And they were afraid that he would get a political boost from it.
MSNBC analyst Michael Steele was one of the hoaxers who was just asking questions.
“What is the extent and nature of the damage to his ear? Was it caused by a bullet, as opposed to, as some reports … saying it was actually shards of glass from the teleprompter?” Steele ranted.
But this conspiracy theory moved from the fever swamps of MSNBC to the halls of Congress.
FBI Director says Trump might not have been shot
FBI Director Christopher Wray took a break from persecuting January 6 attendees to testify before the House Judiciary Committee.
He pushed the hoax that Trump might not have been shot during his testimony.
Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) asked Wray if the FBI had recovered all of the rounds fired by the gun in Butler.
“I think with respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray said.
Wray casually dropped a hoax that gained traction on MSNBC.
Trump laid into him in a post on Truth Social.
“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively ‘uneventful’ – Wrong!” Trump wrote.
Wray claims that President Joe Biden has no cognitive issues.
“That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels,” Trump continued. “His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments – with zero retribution.”
Doctors shut down FBI director’s hoax
Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX) served as the Physician to the President during both the Obama and the Trump administrations and treated former President Trump’s ear after the shooting.
He shut down Wray’s hoax in a letter.
“During the Congressional Hearing two days ago, FBI Director Christopher Wray suggested that it could be a bullet, shrapnel, or glass,” Jackson wrote. “There is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet. Congress should correct the record as confirmed by both the hospital and myself. Director Wray is wrong and inappropriate to suggest anything else.”
The medical staff at the local hospital in Butler determined it was a bullet.
