Former White House physician demanded Biden take a drug test ahead of Presidential debate
Congressman Dr. Ronny Jackson (R-TS) served as the White House physician for both Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
Dr. Jackson had been sufficiently alarmed by the evidence of Joe Biden’s cognitive decline that he told Fox News that Biden should take a drug test ahead of the June 27 debate.
The 81-year-old Biden spent seven days hiding at Camp David with no public events before the debate.
CBS reported Biden’s campaign said it would have some surprises about Biden’s physical condition at the contest.
Dr. Jackson – who observed Biden as Vice President – believes Biden’s team squirreled him away from the public to administer a treatment routine of performance enhancing drugs and “uppers” in hopes Biden could remain alert and coherent throughout the debate.
“It’s embarrassing that I have to do this, and it’s really embarrassing as a former White House physician to have to do something like this, but we don’t have any choice based on what’s going on,” Jackson told Fox News.
Dr. Jackson claimed that the interest of the American people using the debate as a chance to vet the candidates’ actual qualifications for office demanded that he step in and insist on Biden not try to ‘cheap fake’ his way through the debate with a drug cocktail designed to mask his cognitive deficiencies.
“I’m gonna be demanding on behalf of many millions of concerned Americans right now that he submit to a drug test before and after this debate, specifically looking for performance-enhancing drugs,” Jackson declared in the weeks leading up to the debate.
Dr. Jackson pointed to Biden’s bizarre performance at the State of the Union where Biden appeared uncharacteristically amped up, looking like a completely different person.
The Biden at the State of the Union – Jackson explained – was “not similar at all to what we see on a day-to-day basis for the last three and a half years. And there’s surely no way to explain that other than he was on something, that they’d given him medication.”
Dr. Jackson makes a formal request for a pre-debate drug test
Dr. Jackson dispatched a three-page letter to Biden’s White House physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor requesting Biden take a drug test prior to the debate.
“This drug test should be administered both immediately before and after the debate and should include, but not be limited to, performance enhancing drugs,” Jackson wrote.
Dr. Jackson argued that debates “have given the American public the opportunity to gain critical insight into specific policy positions held by individual candidates, to demonstrate each candidate’s leadership qualities and style, and to observe the candidates’ ability to perform in an unscripted and high-pressure environment.”
Donald Trump had no issue with the idea of a drug test.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he would take one on the spot and challenged Biden to do the same.
“DRUG TEST FOR CROOKED JOE BIDEN??? I WOULD, ALSO, IMMEDIATELY AGREE TO ONE!!!” Trump wrote ahead of the debate.
