The entertainment industry is normally a Democrat candidate’s base of support.
But Kamala Harris’ few economic proposals aren’t winning her many new friends.
And a major TV star ripped Kamala Harris to shreds for this plan to tank the economy.
Shark Tank star goes off on Kamala Harris’ economic proposals
Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary teed off on the select few economic proposals that Kamala Harris laid out.
O’Leary told Fox News that Kamala Harris’ plan is bad news for investors and will send companies fleeing to Ireland with its 12.5% corporate tax rate.
“She has been all sugar, no protein. And it’s become a really big sticking point with investors,” O’Leary began.
In addition to raising the corporate tax rate to 28 percent, Kamala Harris supports raising taxes on individuals making over $400,000 per year.
That will ensnare countless small business owners who file as individuals.
And Kamala’s also proposed communist price controls that wrecked economies in countries like Venezuela.
“I really need to understand the idea of price controls. That didn’t work in the seventies, doesn’t work anywhere else on Earth,” O’Leary added.
O’Leary pans Kamala Harris’ tax on unrealized gains
Kamala Harris also proposed a plan to tax unrealized gains that even her own supporters admit is insane.
Mark Cuban – O’Leary’s co-star on Shark Tank– and a staunch Kamala Harris supporter – admitted taxing unrealized gains would “destroy” the stock market.
Kamala Harris would wreck businesses as owners wouldn’t be able to prepare to pay their taxes as Kamala Harris would tax on the value of assets increasing even if they didn’t sell the asset in question.
The opposition to this scheme produced a rare moment of bipartisan agreement as O’Leary and Cuban were on the same side of this issue.
“And this whole idea of taxing unrealized gains… This is a 200-year-old economy that’s based on supporting entrepreneurship,” O’Leary continued.
O’Leary also slammed Kamala Harris for avoiding interviews where actual journalists would ask real questions about her economic policies.
“I’d like her to sit down with a non-celebrity interviewer, a real reporter that asks her questions and follow-up questions. This kumbaya stuff with, you know, pictures of kids and everything… we need details and we don’t have any,” O’Leary stated.

Kamala Harris’ handlers know she can’t actually articulate a defense of her tax-and-spend policies.
A recent New York Times/Siena poll found 30 percent of voters say they still don’t know enough about Kamala Harris.
Democrats’ bet is that is the necessary condition for Kamala Harris to win.
Voters knowing more about Kamala Harris won’t be to her advantage, as it would just remind voters she rode shotgun with Joe Biden these last four years and she supports an even more radical policy agenda.
