Jill Biden aide fears Kamala Harris is adopting a poor strategy
Former Jill Biden press secretary Michael LaRosa expressed his concern to Jesse Watters that Kamala Harris’ version of hiding in the basement would land her in big trouble.
LaRosa explained that Joe Biden’s handlers ignored the press as much as possible.
That tact blew up in their face after the debate as the liberal media felt no compunction to defend Biden as Biden’s handlers never built up a reservoir of goodwill with the press.
“It’s a process story which is the worst thing you could do. And one of the things that unfortunately the Biden team did was they ignored the press. And the problem with that is when you need the press, you lose goodwill, you lose trust. He had none of it by the end which is what really did him in,” Larosa told Jesse Watters. “Every little thing you say is amplified and your mistakes are scrutinized even more,” LaRosa stated.
LaRosa warned that Kamala’s handlers actually hurt the candidate as cocooning her away from the media amplified any gaffe or misstep because voters never established a personal relationship with Kamala through constant exposure.
“That’s unfair to do her frankly. She should be establishing a cadence of talking to the press off the cuff. Actually people connect voters connect when you do make mistakes and mistakes are forgiven,” LaRosa continued.
Why Kamala’s handlers hide her from the press
Kamala Harris finally did sit for an interview.
Super fan Dana Bash of pro-Democrat cable channel CNN asked the questions.
Even in the friendliest of settings, Kamala Harris managed to spew her famous word salads.
At one point, Kamala took a long detour through the English language to put a jumble of words together, trying to explain why she supposedly no longer supports the Green New Deal after signing on as a co-sponsor of the $93 trillion socialist scheme when she ran for President back in the 2020 campaign.
“You mentioned the green New Deal. I have always believed, and I have worked on it, that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time. We did that with the inflation Reduction Act. We have set goals for the United States of America, and by extension, the globe around when we should meet certain standards for reducing house gas emissions, as an example, that value has not changed,” Kamala rambled.

Political bettors also didn’t like what it saw.
The Polymarket political prediction market flipped to Donald Trump in the lead as Kamala Harris spoke to CNN.
Gamblers took one look at Kamala’s performance and likely thought she wouldn’t give a good showing of herself at the September 10 debate.
Democrats already saw once this cycle what happened when their candidate bombed in a debate.
