President Donald Trump was enjoying a round a golf this afternoon at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Then all hell broke loose.
That’s because shots were just fired at President Donald Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course and a police chase ensued.
Trump campaign indicates Donald Trump is safe
“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time,” Steven Cheung, an advisor to the Trump campaign, said in a statement.
Secret Service spokesperson, Anthony Guglielmi, confirmed in a statement on X, “The Secret Service, in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, is investigating a protective incident involving former President Donald Trump that occurred shortly before 2 p.m. The former president is safe.”

Fox News’ Sean Hannity reported four shots were fired and an “AK-47-style gun” was found in the bushes at the golf course and the shooter is in police custody.

Donald Trump praised the Secret Service reaction, saying, “Tell everybody I am fine and the Secret Service did a great job.”
Fox News is now reporting the Secret Service fired the shots heard by the President and his friends on the golf course, preventing the would-be assassin from firing any shots at Trump.
