Adam Schiff’s brain melts over Matt Gaetz nomination
Donald Trump made it clear he intends to gut the deep state by naming Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz as his Attorney General.
Subversive bureaucrats inside the weaponized Department of Justice have no greater ally than California Senator-elect Adam Schiff.
And Adam Schiff quickly swooped in with an Orwellian statement claiming it was Trump showing he intended to weaponize the Justice Department against his political enemies by nominating Gaetz as Attorney General.
“First the Supreme Court granted a president immunity for weaponizing the Justice Department. Now Donald Trump wants to appoint Matt Gaetz as AG?” Schiff asked in a post on social media opposing Gaetz’s nomination.
Schiff then called on the GOP-run Senate to reject Gaetz’s nomination.
“Confirming him would mean affirming the worst potential abuses of the DOJ,” Schiff added.
“He must be rejected by the Senate,” Schiff concluded.
Why Donald Trump picked Matt Gaetz
In Donald Trump’s first term, the Department of Justice sat at the center of the deep state coup against his Presidency.
The Justice Department gave birth to the Mueller witch hunt which the deep state hoped would end Trump’s Presidency.
After Trump left office, Attorney General Merrick Garland weaponized the Justice Department against Donald Trump in the hopes that show trial criminal cases would defeat his re-election bid.
Matt Gaetz saw through all these hoaxes and defended Donald Trump from day one.
In a statement announcing Gaetz’s nomination, Trump explained he needed someone running the Department of Justice who wasn’t captive to the swamp, would enforce the law equally regardless of political views, and implement Trump’s MAGA agenda.
“Few issues in America are more important than ending the partisan Weaponization of our Justice System. Matt will end Weaponized Government, protect our Borders, dismantle Criminal Organizations and restore Americans’ badly-shattered Faith and Confidence in the Justice Department. On the House Judiciary Committee, which performs oversight of the DOJ, Matt played a key role in defeating the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, and exposing alarming and systemic Government Corruption and Weaponization,” Trump stated.
“He is a Champion for the Constitution and the Rule of Law,” Trump declared.
Gaetz at the Justice Department would cause political heartburn for Schiff.
That’s because Gaetz was one of the first Republicans to recognize the Russia collusion hoax for what it was.
And an Attorney General Matt Gaetz would surely make documents public showing how the Department of Justice tried to frame Trump as a Russian traitor using accusations deep state officials knew were lies from the get-go.
Trump supporters contend these disclosures would also implicate Schiff in the plot against the President.
Adam Schiff and his deep state allies know they are in the same boat and want to kill the Gaetz for Attorney General nomination in the crib.
