Now the two shall meet.
And Taylor Swift is about to get into a major fight with this pro-Trump NFL star.
Harrison Butker forms political action committee
The Kansas City Chiefs are the center of the NFL universe in more ways than one.
Kansas City is the league’s marquee franchise thanks to all-league quarterback Patrick Mahomes and their quest for a three-peat.
The Chiefs are also the center of the tabloid world, thanks to tight end Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift.
And the Chiefs are at the center of the intersection between sports and politics.
Not only did Swift endorse Kamala Harris but kicker Harrison Butker – who hit a clutch field goal to send last year’s Super Bowl into overtime, holds the record for longest field goal in Super Bowl history, and is the league’s highest-paid kicker – also formed UPRIGHT PAC to support Pro-Life candidates for office.
UPRIGHT PAC also supports Catholic values such as opposition to the woke transgender and homosexual agenda.
“We’re seeing our values under attack every day. In our schools, in the media, and even from our own government. But we have a chance to fight back and reclaim the traditional values that have made this country great. We are working to mobilize Christians across this country to make sure we protect these values at the ballot box,” the PAC’s website reads.
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt – whose family are proud Christians and Republicans – defended Butker’s involvement in the political arena.
“One of the things I talk to the players every year about at training camp is using their platform to make a difference,” Hunt declared. “We have players on both sides of the political spectrum, both sides of whatever controversial issue you want to bring up. I’m not at all concerned when our players use their platform to make a difference.”
Will Butker’s political activism cause him to come into conflict with Swift?
This isn’t the first time the woke Left tried to cancel Harrison Butker.
This past spring, Butker delivered a commencement address at a Catholic university where he told the female graduates that they shouldn’t let society fool them into thinking there is no value in being a mom who stays home to raise children.
“Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother,” Butker stated.
Swift’s fans wanted her to come and slam Butker.

But Hunt, Mahomes, and Kelce all defended Butker, respecting his right to express whatever political and religious beliefs he wants while also praising him as a teammate.
Now will Harrison Butker’s latest political activism cause another groundswell among the “Swifties” on social media to pressure their hero to denounce Butker?
