Kamala Harris tries to politicize Hurricane Milton
Hurricane Milton eventually struck the west coast of Florida as a Category 3 storm.
Before Milton made landfall, it approached Florida as a Category 5 hurricane and threatened Biblical levels of death and destruction.
The Biden-Kamala Harris administration was already under fire for a disastrous response to Hurricane Helene, where the administration waited days to mobilize military resources for a recovery operation.
Since Kamala Harris’ name is the one on the ballot this fall, Kamala wanted to make it look like she was on the ball and in charge.
But in typical Kamala Harris fashion, she botched this simple script.
Kamala Harris tried to attack Governor DeSantis for ignoring her phone call ahead of Milton making landfall, smearing DeSantis as “selfish” for trying to play “political games” with a life and death situation.
“Playing political games at this moment in these crisis situations — these are the height of emergency situations — is just utterly irresponsible and it is selfish and it is about political gamesmanship,” Kamala Harris ranted to reporters on an airport tarmac.

Joe Biden keeps finding ways to undermine Kamala Harris’ campaign.
Biden already knifed Kamala Harris by telling reporters she was responsible for every foreign and domestic policy decision of the last four years.
And Biden undercut Kamala Harris again on Hurricane Milton.
A reporter asked Biden about the relationship with DeSantis and the preparations from Milton.
Biden spoke glowingly of DeSantis and claimed there was no issue whatsoever with the federal government working with the state of Florida to save as many lives as possible.
“All I can tell you is I’ve talked to Gov. DeSantis. He’s been very gracious. He’s thanked me for all we’ve done. He knows what we are doing, and I think that’s important,” Biden said in response.
DeSantis then dropped the hammer on Kamala Harris in an interview with Fox News, explaining that Kamala Harris never once called for any of the previous hurricanes that struck Florida.
The Governor added that Kamala Harris has no actual role in disaster preparation and she was trying to insert herself into this situation and he didn’t have time for her political grandstanding.
“If I honestly thought there was something to be gained, I would pick up the phone and call her. The fact of the matter is she has no role in this process. She’s not part of the chain of command. I am working with President Biden, FEMA, state and local partners, and we’re getting the job done,” DeSantis stated.
“She has never been interested in any of the storms we’ve had in the state of Florida her entire time as Vice President. Now she’s out there attacking me because I’m not catering to her whims? All she’s trying to do is inject herself to be a part of her political campaign. I don’t have time for political games. I’ve got a job to do, we’ve got people’s lives on the line, and that is our sole focus,” DeSantis added.
