A top Democrat let the cat out of the bag on this scary plan Kamala Harris has

Kamala Harris is trying to keep her policy platform under wraps.

One of her left-wing allies was too giddy with excitement.

And a top Democrat let the cat out of the bag on this scary plan Kamala Harris has.

Democrat says Kamala Harris supports the Green New Deal

Vice President Kamala Harris is one of the biggest climate change extremists to ever hold office in the United States.

She was one of the sponsors of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) Green New Deal when she was serving in the Senate.

During her failed 2020 Presidential campaign, she revealed how far she would go to make sure it became the law of the land.

“I’m prepared to get rid of the filibuster to pass a Green New Deal,” Kamala said at a 2019 CNN town hall during her Presidential campaign.

Now that she’s running in a competitive General Election, she’s singing a different tune.

Her campaign put out an anonymous statement claiming she no longer supports banning fracking, a policy in the Green New Deal.

She’s avoiding talking about her policy on energy.

This is a transparent attempt to win the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania, which has a booming natural gas industry from fracking.

But one of her allies let the truth slip at the Democratic National Convention.

Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA) – an acolyte of U.S. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) – told a climate change panel at the convention that the Green New Deal “will be the vision under President Harris.”

“All the Green New Deal says is we’re going to build new industry—new steel, new aluminum, new iron—new industry in America,” Khanna said. “We’re going to create new jobs in the places that were deindustrialized, and it’s going to be good for the climate, and it’s going to have less carbon footprint.”

The Green New Deal is a $93 trillion bill – the most expensive legislation in human history – that would eliminate the use of fossil fuels to transition the country to 100% green energy and reduce carbon emissions to zero.

“That will be the vision under President Harris,” Khanna continued. “No fossil fuel subsidies, a holding accountable of Big Oil, and a reindustrialization of this country that’s going to make America lead as a climate champion in the world.”

Kamala Harris’ allies think she’s going to deliver big on Green New Deal policies

Kamala has been trying to walk some of the far-left positions she’s held in the past by putting out anonymous statements from her campaign.

She needs to rebrand herself as more of a moderate to be able to appeal to voters in the swing states.

Khanna and her political allies are acting as if this is all an election year gimmick to fool voters.

The Green New Deal Network – a coalition of climate change groups – endorsed Kamala’s bid for President.

Climate change activists are lining up behind her campaign.

They’re backing her because they know she’ll do everything in her power to deliver on their priorities if she’s in the White House.
