Donald Trump was shocked by one unthinkable name that Queen Elizabeth II called him

Donald Trump has a longstanding relationship with the British royal family.

The media is claiming things were much different between them than people realized.

And Donald Trump was shocked by one unthinkable name that Queen Elizabeth II called him.

Author makes an incendiary claim about Queen Elizabeth II

Former President Donald Trump had a fond relationship publicly with the late Queen Elizabeth II over the years.

“Who could be greater than what she’s done? And she did it so long, so well and never made mistakes,” Trump told GB News in September 2022 after her passing.

The pair, by all accounts, had a cordial relationship.

But the author of an upcoming biography about Queen Elizabeth II claims that she called him “very rude.”

British author Craig Brown wrote A Voyage Around the Queen where he claims that the late British monarch found the former President off-putting.

Trump met with Queen Elizabeth II in the United Kingdom three times during his Presidency.

“A few weeks after President Trump’s visit, for instance, she confided in one lunch guest that she found him ‘very rude’: she particularly disliked the way he couldn’t stop looking over her shoulder, as though in search of others more interesting,” Brown wrote in the book.

“She also believed President Trump ‘must have some sort of arrangement’ with his wife Melania, or else why would she have remained married to him?” Brown added.

But this claim is disputed by royal sources and Trump.

Royal source shuts down claim about Queen Elizabeth II

Trump disputed the claim to the Daily Mail, saying he heard that he was the Queen’s favorite President.

“I have no idea who the writer is, but it was really just the opposite,” Trump said. “I had a great relationship with the queen. She liked me and I liked her.”

The former President accused the author of making the incendiary claim to sell books.

“We spent hours together at a state dinner,” Trump continued. “She was a fantastic woman. I think it’s a shame that a sleaze bag can write an article that’s totally false. In fact, I’ve heard always the opposite.”

“I heard I was her favorite president, and you’ve heard that too. She would say it to a lot of people,” Trump added.

A former Buckingham Palace official told the New York Post that the book’s claims are hogwash.

The official worked closely with Queen Elizabeth II at the palace.

“I know this to be untrue, first hand,” the official said. “I spoke to the queen subsequently after the State visit, and other members of the royal household, and she told me she found them [the Trumps] to be really gracious and wonderful guests to have in the palace.”

Trump brought Melania and four of his children – Eric, Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Tiffany – to a state visit to Buckingham Palace.

“She said they were a lovely family to have in the palace,” the official added.

Donald Trump is the victim of hoaxes from the media on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
