CNN’s Jim Acosta is the poster child for someone who claims to be a journalist but is really a liberal partisan.
Acosta – like the rest of the media – is adjusting to the new reality of Kamala Harris entering the race.
And Jim Acosta looked like a fool begging Kamala Harris to do one thing.

Since Joe Biden quit on July 21 and Kamala Harris quickly ascended to the position atop the Democrat Party ticket, Harris has only taken a handful of softball questions from her supporters in the press.
Kamala’s yet to hold a press conference.
And Kamala’s yet to lay out a real policy agenda.
Instead, Kamala shows up to rallies where she reads platitudes off a teleprompter while the press bombards the American people with propaganda news stories with how much “joy” Kamala and her running mate Tim Walz brought to the country.
But now the press is beginning to get a little frustrated that Kamala’s making it so obvious she believes them to be her sycophants.
Jim Acosta spent an entire interview pleading with Kamala’s campaign spokesman Michael Tyler to do a press conference, and Tyler showed the campaign knows the press is in its pocket by brushing Acosta off at every turn.
Acosta’s pleas rejected
Acosta asked Tyler about the broadsides launched by Donald Trump and J.D. Vance about Kamala refusing to take questions and if that would change the campaign’s calculus about hiding Kamala away from the press.
“I’m sure this is not going to be the first time you’ve heard this question, but the Trump campaign is also going after the vice president for not doing enough interviews, for not holding a press conference — would it kill you guys to have a press conference? Why hasn’t she had a press conference?” Acosta asked Tyler.
Tyler dismissed the idea out of hand, telling Acosta it was steady as she goes with the campaign’s current strategy and that Kamala would sit for an interview sometime by the end of August.
This left Acosta frustrated.
“She’s the vice president, she can handle the questions, why not do it?” Acosta wondered.
Tyler then claimed Kamala was already taking questions, when, in reality, she has followed Joe Biden’s press strategy lock step, only having brief interactions with reporters as she boarded her plane.
“We absolutely are going to do it. You hear her take questions as she’s out on the stump, and as she said last week, we’re going to be having a sit-down interview here before the end of the month,” Tyler responded.
Acosta tried one more time.
“Can you commit to a press conference this week?” Acosta asked. Tyler continued touting the campaign.
Tyler ignored Acosta for a third time.
“We will commit to directly engage with the voters,” Tyler replied.
“They’re actually going to decide this election, and that is going to be complete with rallies, with sit-down interviews, with press conferences, with all the digital assets at our disposal. We are running a campaign that is built to communicate with the voters that are actually going to decide the pathway to 270 electoral votes,” Tyler concluded.
Acosta: “Would it kill you guys to have a press conference?”
Harris Spox: “We’re gonna be having a sit-down interview here before the end of the month.”

Kamala’s team doesn’t want to have her answer questions because that means Kamala has to take stances on issues.
Taking stances on issues moves the campaign out of its comfort zone – where it can sell the idea of Kamala to the public – to instead have voters focus on the reality of what Kamala Harris being President means for their lives.
