Randy Fine Threatened Trump’s Agenda and Nicki Minaj Just Humiliated Him For It

Jul 18, 2026

A leaked video showed Randy Fine punching other lawmakers' voting buttons inside the Florida House.

Now that same congressman is holding Trump's entire legislative agenda hostage.

Nicki Minaj just turned Randy Fine's own last name into a punchline.

Randy Fine's Own Voting Record Doesn't Match His Election Integrity Rhetoric

America Last Congressman Randy Fine wants you to believe he's the last honest man standing on election integrity in Washington.

Back in Tallahassee, video surfaced showing the Florida congressman reaching across the State House chamber floor and pressing voting buttons that weren't his own.

Fine didn't deny it.

He told critics on X that Florida House rules allowed members to vote for absent colleagues, as long as those colleagues gave permission from elsewhere in the building.

Maybe that's true but it’s a big if as to whether they were in the building.

But the same man now lecturing his party about the sanctity of the ballot box has his own tape to answer for.

Now he's threatening to blow up Donald Trump's entire House majority over a Twitter fight.

Fine has told White House officials he will vote against every single rule that reaches the House floor until Trump fires longtime outside adviser Alex Bruesewitz.

Bruesewitz doesn't even work for the administration.

He's an outside adviser with no official title and no government paycheck, just a phone that Trump answers.

Trump's SAVE America Act Sits in the Crossfire of a Personal Grudge

Fine became the only Republican in the entire House to vote against the rule advancing the SAVE America Act, Trump's own election integrity bill.

The irony writes itself.

The same congressman just torpedoed the rule tied to the bill designed to lock down America's elections.

Fine claims his no vote was about a mystery family feud and had nothing to do with the legislation itself.

House Speaker Mike Johnson doesn't have room for games.

Republicans hold one of the thinnest majorities in modern history, and Fine's stunt hands Democrats leverage heading into the midterms.

House Republicans have stalled Trump's agenda before, but usually over something real.

Conservative holdouts once brought the Big Beautiful Bill to a standstill for hours, and that fight was over trillions in federal spending.

Nearly every one of those holdouts eventually caved to Trump.

Fine appears to be betting Trump folds first this time.

He's picked the wrong adviser to go to war over.

Bruesewitz helped engineer Trump's podcast tour, the same strategy widely credited with delivering the president a wave of young male voters.

He's remained close enough to the Oval Office to be photographed there with rapper Nicki Minaj.

When word broke of Fine's threat, Minaj didn't wait for an invitation.

She fired back on X with a play on his own last name, and it stuck instantly.

Bruesewitz thanked her publicly, saying he'll always have her back.

Fine, when pressed by reporters, wouldn't even confirm his own threat.

"Sometimes families have disputes," he said, adding that he'd rather keep the matter private.

That's a strange thing to say about a fight he started by publicly accusing his own colleagues of trying to "destroy the West."

The Only Grudge Threatening Trump's Agenda Belongs to Randy Fine

Here's what fires so many up about this one: a guy with his own vote-button tape has crowned himself the guardian of election integrity, and he's willing to torch Trump's actual election integrity bill to settle a score with a man who doesn't even hold a government job.

Trump built this majority by beating Democrats at their own game, not by letting one grudge-holding congressman with a camera problem hold the entire House hostage.

If Randy Fine wants to spend his political capital fighting Alex Bruesewitz, he can do it after the SAVE America Act reaches Trump's desk, not before.

Fine wanted the last word on Alex Bruesewitz, and Nicki Minaj beat him to it: "Alex will be just FINE."
