Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop megastar Taylor Swift are the most talked about celebrity couple in the country.
The couple was spotted on a date in Manhattan where they got to spend some time together before the NFL playoffs began.
A body language expert noticed something about the way Kelce acted during the date that she claimed was significant.
Body language expert Judi James told the Daily Mail that the NFL star seemed “nervous” during the date.
She claimed that Kelce appeared to “show some signs of awkwardness or anxiety.”
“His hand clasp with Taylor shows his hand firmly on top and their fingers meshed, showing closeness, but his free hand seems to touch his stomach and move about in a way that suggests he feels under pressure,” James said.
Kelce normally likes to ham it for the media, but James said his body language was saying something different this time.
“His teeth looked clenched and his head is bowed at times, which is an unusual attempt to hide from the press from a guy who normally loves the attention,” James explained.
“Taylor looks confident and sociable here, but Travis seems to be in a contradictory state. So, the question is, why the apparent anxiety?” James asked.

James speculated that he could be feeling pressure to pop the question.
“If he is on the brink of proposing these symptoms would fit but they could also occur from a man who’s avoiding commitment while under pressure to propose,” James said.
Engagement rumors swirled throughout 2024 in the wake of the couple going public with their relationship in October 2023.
A source told the Daily Mail that the Kansas City Chiefs star is feeling the pressure to propose.
“These engagement rumors started from day one and they do not know how they can even have a public engagement at this point,” the source said.

“His family jokes with him about a wedding and pits him up against his brother whose wife is already popping out more babies,” the source added.
