NFL schedule release reveals what games Taylor Swift can attend next year
Pop star Taylor Swift became one of the surprising storylines of last season in the NFL when she went public with her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce last September.
She became a regular at Chiefs games on the team’s way to its second straight Super Bowl victory.
Guessing if Swift could make it back to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl in February from her concert in Japan became a subject of intense speculation.
The NFL released its schedule for the 2024 season, which revealed what games she could attend.
Swift is spending most of this year touring Europe as part of her record-setting Eras Tour.
But she has a two-month break on the tour that coincides with the start of the NFL season in September.
The Chiefs kick off the NFL season with a Thursday night game against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5.
Swift restarts her tour again in October, with concerts scheduled in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis.
The Eras Tours will wrap up in Canada in December.
She should be able to attend most of the Chiefs games this year and with no touring announced in 2025, she could join them on a playoff run.
Travis Kelce is attending Taylor Swift’s concerts in Europe
Kelce is spending the NFL offseason supporting Swift by attending her shows in Europe.
He said on his New Heights podcast with his brother Jason Kelce that he planned to travel the world this offseason.
“I’m gonna be dancing around, yeah. I’m all over the world this offseason,” Kelce said. “It’s like the yin to my yang. Football, it keeps me locked in to Kansas City during the season and you know I just gotta fly around and have some fun in the offseason.”
He attended Swift’s Paris concert with actor Bradley Cooper and his girlfriend, model Gigi Hadid.
Video was recorded of Kelce dancing to “Blank Spaces” at the show.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that Kelce was returning the favor and supporting Swift this offseason.
“Travis couldn’t wait to attend Taylor’s European leg of her Eras tour,” the source said. “He was very excited to see Taylor in action yet again, and enjoys watching her perform and singing along.”
“He’s a very supportive partner, as is she,” the source added. “The two are making it a point to celebrate each other’s achievements, and show up when it matters most.”
Based on Taylor Swift’s concert schedule, she could attend all but three regular-season games for the Chiefs.
Her potential presence at Chiefs games next season will be another storyline for the NFL season.
