Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion have been part of the Biden-Harris agenda since day one.
While most people assumed this was a push to ensure equality under the law, it actually is another form of racism and sexism.
But now many companies are rejecting DEI, and this major hardware store just announced it was ending the program.
DEI spreads like a cancer
Americans have a strong sense of justice. They don’t like it when one group gets special privileges over another group.
They oppose a two-tiered justice system where one group gets a pass for unlawful behavior because they belong to a privileged group.
But that is exactly what is created with DEI. “Equity” is not the same as equality. Equity means the outcomes must be the same regardless of merit.
This is a Marxist ideal that everyone must receive the same pay no matter what value someone brings to the table or the effort they put into the project.
In corporate America this idea has spread like a cancer as major investors demanded that companies inflict DEI programs on their workers.
This has led to white workers being forced to attend classes on “white fragility,” where they are told that they are racists.
But besides the attempt by corporate Marxists to mess with people’s minds, the results have been discriminatory toward White and Asian people.
Since the program started, the S&P 100 added 300,000 new jobs. But only 6% went to Caucasians. Caucasians make up 76% of the population, this is evidence of blatant discrimination against the largest group of citizens in the country.
Companies such as Harley-Davidson and Tractor Supply have gotten blow back from their blatant discrimination against white workers.
Not only are the workers complaining, but consumers are turning their backs on these companies.
Companies are ending DEI
Harley-Davidson just announced it was ending its DEI program after sales started to tank.
Now Lowe’s has announced it was dropping its DEI initiative before it got the “Bud Light Treatment.”
Bud Light killed its brand as the number one beer in the US when it ran a campaign with Dylan Mulvaney to push the trans agenda. Sales dropped dramatically.
The company will no longer participate in surveys with self-appointed groups that keep track of the percentage of workers hired by different categories, including LGBTQ.
Fortune Magazine reports:
“Robby Starbuck, a conservative political commentator who has gone after companies like Tractor Supply and John Deere, took credit for the changes Monday in a post on X, saying he had approached a Lowe’s executive online last week and detailed his plans to “expose” the company over its hiring policies and other topics, such as LGBTQ+ employee resource groups and funding for Pride events.”
Lowe’s was concerned that if it continued its woke policies, people would start shifting their purchases to their major rival, Home Depot.
But corporate America is still trying to figure out ways to quietly push the DEI agenda in order to stay in the good graces of the federal government and major investors like government employee pension funds, which have much greater control of stock prices than consumer demand, at least in the short term.
