The Supreme Court Slapped Down This Biden Judge Twice and He Just Did It Again

A Biden judge in Boston told the Supreme Court he didn't have to follow their ruling – and kept blocking Trump's deportations anyway.

Now he's back, this time wiping out RFK Jr's entire vaccine reform agenda with a single order.

The left is celebrating like they won an election. They didn't win anything. They found the same speed bump the Supreme Court already moved twice.

Brian Murphy: Defense Attorney Turned Democrat Weapon

Judge Brian Murphy never sat on a bench before Biden put him on one.

His entire pre-judicial career was spent defending drunk drivers, fraudsters, sex offenders, and drug traffickers at a Boston criminal defense firm he co-founded in 2011.

Murphy & Rudolph – the firm he ran as managing partner – openly boasted about winning dismissals for clients charged with rape, child rape, and murder.

When Biden nominated him in 2024, the Washington Free Beacon reported that Murphy's firm advertised "50 years of combined experience to defend clients in cases of sex crimes against children."

Senate Democrats confirmed Murphy on a strictly party-line vote – one of 22 Biden nominees rammed through between Election Day 2024 and the new Republican Senate's swearing-in on January 3, 2025.

Not one Republican voted yes.

Two SCOTUS Smackdowns and He's Still at It

The Supreme Court's patience with Murphy ran out fast.

In April 2025, Murphy issued a sweeping injunction blocking Trump's deportation of criminal illegal aliens to third countries – men with final removal orders, some dating back decades, convicted of rape, child sex assault, and murder.

The Supreme Court stayed his injunction 6-3 in June.

Murphy defied it anyway, claiming a technicality gave him authority to keep blocking the deportations.

The high court returned a week later with a 7-2 order – joined even by Justice Elena Kagan – specifically admonishing Murphy for flouting their decision.

Kagan wrote she could not see "how a district court can compel compliance with an order that this Court has stayed."

Even the liberals on the Supreme Court told Murphy he had gone too far.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley observed at the time: "Regardless of your views on the merits, this system cannot function with such rogue operators at the trial level."

Murphy's immigration rulings were reversed by both the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.

Now He's Come for Your Kids' Vaccines

This week, Murphy issued a preliminary injunction blocking RFK Jr.'s overhaul of the childhood vaccine schedule – a core piece of the Make America Healthy Again agenda.

Kennedy had streamlined childhood vaccine recommendations from 17 to 11, fired a CDC advisory committee stacked with conflicts of interest, and replaced it with members willing to apply real scientific scrutiny.

Murphy froze all of it.

He blocked Kennedy's 13 new advisory committee appointees from serving.

He voided their votes – including revised recommendations on hepatitis B vaccines for newborns and COVID-19 guidance.

He restored the pre-January 2026 schedule in full.

The Department of Health and Human Services did not mince words.

"HHS looks forward to this judge's decision being overturned," spokesman Andrew Nixon said, "just like his other attempts to keep the Trump administration from governing."

That's not spin. It's a track record.

One Judge in Boston. A Mandate From 77 Million Americans.

This is the game the radical left has perfected.

You lose the election – badly – and instead of accepting the verdict, you find one friendly judge in one blue-state courthouse and use him to veto the entire mandate.

Murphy sits in Boston, confirmed by lame-duck Democrats in a last-ditch effort to plant obstructionists before the door closed on them.

A Harvard Law Review study found that 93.6 percent of nationwide injunctions during the Trump and Biden administrations were issued by judges appointed by the rival president.

During Trump's first term, Democrat-appointed judges issued 59 of 64 nationwide injunctions.

This is not coincidence. It is a strategy.

Trump's vaccine agenda will survive Murphy's latest stunt just like the deportation rulings did.

The First Circuit and the Supreme Court have already shown what they think of this judge's work.

Murphy knows that too.

He doesn't care. The delay is the point. The obstruction is the reward.

Remember that the next time Democrats lecture you about respecting democratic norms. They lost the election. Now they're using a lame-duck judge in Boston to veto the mandate you gave Trump. Don't let them gaslight you into thinking this is normal.
