Maddow invents a new anti-Trump conspiracy
At one point in Donald Trump’s first term, Rachel Maddow was the highest-rated host on all of cable news.
Maddow drew bigger ratings than Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson because she fed liberals a steady diet of the Russia collusion hoax conspiracy.
No host embraced the lie that Trump colluded with Russian President Vladimir Putin to steal the 2016 election with more gusto than Maddow.
With Donald Trump favored to win the White House in November, critics allege Maddow is seeding the ground for her latest anti-Trump conspiracy theory and ratings ploy.
In an interview with left-wing CNN activist Oliver Darcy, Maddow claimed without citing any evidence that Donald Trump would round up critics like her and throw in a federal gulah.
“I’m worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people, and to “root out” what he’s described in subhuman terms as his “enemy from within.” Again, history is helpful here. He’s not joking when he says this stuff, and we’ve seen what happens when people take power proclaiming that kind of agenda,” Maddow stated.
Maddow then baselessly claimed Trump would try and round up and arrest all Democrats.
“I think there’s a little bit of head-in-the-sand complacency that Trump only intends to go after individual people he has already singled out. Do you really think he plans to stop at well-known liberals?” Maddow added.
Maddow goes off the rails
Maddow then speculated wildly that Trump would jail Republicans who refuse to bend to his will.
“It also seems pretty clear that some people in politics might think they’ll be on the safe side – that they might even benefit from it – if they side with Trump. Ask Mike Pence about how that works out in the end,” Maddow continued.
All that happened to Mike Pence was Donald Trump said he wouldn’t name him to the ticket as his running mate for a third time.
Contrary to the falsehoods peddled by CNN and Maddow, Donald Trump operated within the normal parameters of politics.
It was Democrats, like Joe Biden, who trashed norms by staging Deep State coups to overthrow Trump and then arrest him on charges of fake crimes.
There are concerns that liberals will riot and burn down cities if Trump wins the election.
In the event of a liberal color revolution to destabilize the country, Trump is reportedly considering invoking the Insurrection Act to deploy troops to safeguard civil society.
Maddow thinks the defense of law and order – and not the potential rioters – are the threat to democracy.
“When Trump invokes the Insurrection Act to deploy the U.S. military against civilians on his first day in office, do you think he then rescinds the order on day two?” Maddow wondered.

And finally, Maddow floated a deranged conspiracy theory that proposed detention centers to house illegal aliens as part of a mass deportation effort by a Trump administration would end up as concentration camps for liberals like her.
“For that matter, what convinces you that these massive camps he’s planning are only for migrants? So, yes, I’m worried about me – but only as much as I’m worried about all of us,” Maddow concluded.
There was some hope that Trump winning a second term would break the fever on the Left as Trump’s re-election meant his time on the stage would officially end in 2028.
But the dirty secret is the media needs Trump as a source of ratings.
And Maddow’s detractors contend she is whipping up a false hysteria in her audience, so they keep the TV tuned to MSNBC for the next four years.
