The pressure of the 2024 campaign is getting to Nancy Pelosi.
Pelosi knows it’s crunch time and that the playing field is tilting away from Kamala Harris.
And now Nancy Pelosi turned on a former ally for one insane reason.

There isn’t friendlier ground for a Democrat than Jake Tapper’s show on CNN.
Tapper is a former Democrat Party political operative who knows to treat his former party with deference and not try and trip them up in interviews this close to an election.
But former House Speaker, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), flew off the handle when Tapper played Pelosi a clip of Donald Trump saying Kamala Harris has “bigger cognitive problems” than Joe Biden and then asked for Pelosi’s response.
Pelosi – who herself often shows the effects of her being over the age of 80 – launched into an incoherent Joe Biden-like rant about Trump.
“Why would you even cover that? This is a person who’s not on the level. He is their nominee for president. He is incompetent. Let’s not even talk about the silliness of it all, and the weirdness of it all, and the assault on women that it is. We’re not going to talk issues — incompetent,” Pelosi began.
Nancy Pelosi added trillions to the national debt during her time as Speaker of the House when Barack Obama and Joe Biden turned into a born-again deficit hawk.
“The only thing he did as president, the only thing he did as president when he had the majority, was to pass a bill — a tax cut — that gave 83 of the benefits to the top 1%, adding $2 trillion to the national debt. The worst job creation record of anybody president since Herbert Hoover,” Pelosi added.
Tapper didn’t point out that Nancy Pelosi supported every spending bill and debt ceiling increase that drowned America in red ink.
But Tapper did note that most of the debt incurred under Trump was due spending bills to keep the economy afloat after Democrats wanted to lock down the economy.
“Because of Covid, yes,” Tapper replied.
Pelosi grows angrier
Pelosi then spouted off more gibberish that didn’t come anywhere close to making a point before falsely accusing Donald Trump of botching the response to COVID.
“Well, it’s not because of COVID. We put $3 trillion into the economy when he was president and the Congress are working together. We put $3 trillion into the economy, so don’t blame it on [Covid]. And what did he do with Covid? Denial and delay. Responsible for thousands and thousands and thousands of people dying. So, if you’re gonna forgive his job record because of Covid, make sure you attribute many of those deaths to him, as well,” Pelosi raged.
Tapper didn’t fact check Pelosi on the spot as he could have by pointing out that more people died of COVID in 2021 under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, despite Trump leaving behind the controversial COVID vaccine, than did under Trump in 2020.
Pelosi knew what Trump meant by Kamala Harris’ cognitive issues was the fact that Kamala Harris can hardly speak clearly and coherently when reading off of a teleprompter.
Somehow Kamala Harris ascended to these heights in American politics and still comes across like a grade schooler terrified to speak in front of the class.
