Kamala’s handlers took a calculated risk that they could cherry-pick enough legitimate sounding, but friendly enough, interviews that Kamala Harris could knock some softball questions out of the park and reassure Americans she wasn’t some empty-headed leftist.
That plan imploded on the launchpad as Kamala Harris’ disastrous 60 Minutes interview showed she was incapable of thinking on her feet and answering questions without a script.
Correspondent Bill Whitaker asked Kamala Harris a simple question as to why she waited until now to claim she wants to secure the border, and why quadruple the number of illegal aliens have entered America now as compared to during Donald Trump’s administration.
Kamala Harris tried to claim it was a day one priority.
“The first bill we proposed to Congress, the first bill was to fix our broken immigration system, knowing that if you want to actually fix it, we need Congress to act, it was not taken up,” Kamala Harris told Whitaker.

Megyn Kelly explained to listeners that under border czar Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, the true day-one goal was opening the border to millions of illegal aliens.
One of the first actions Biden and Kamala Harris took on the border was ending the successful Remain in Mexico protocols.
This allowed illegal aliens to remain in the United States while waiting for adjudication on their asylum claims.
Biden and Kamala Harris also stopped border wall construction.
“Here is what actually happened when they took office in January of 2021. She and Joe Biden, immediately via his executive order, moved to suspend Remain in Mexico for all asylum seekers, which under Trump required them to stay in Mexico, so if it got denied, they wouldn’t be our problem, they’d be Mexico’s. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris got rid of that. They halted construction of the border wall on day one,” Kelly stated.
Kelly then played clips of Joe Biden saying that ending Trump’s immigration policies “will remove the stain,” of the previous four years.
Biden also called Trump’s successful immigration policies a “national shame.”
“We’re going to work to undo the moral and national shame of the previous administration,” Biden added.
Kelly then detailed the additional steps Biden and Kamala Harris took to open the border.
“He and she undid it. That’s what was happening when they took office. They began a review of the fast-track deportation procedure known as ‘expedited removal,’ which allows immigration authorities to remove an individual without a hearing before an immigration judge. They got rid of that,” Kelly added.
“They expanded the US Refugee Admissions Program and rescinded Trump’s policies that limited refugee admissions and required additional vetting. That’s what they did,” Kelly concluded.
Kamala Harris doesn’t have any good answers on the border, because once she got into office she put her money where her mouth was with open borders.
