White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt restored professionalism and competency back to the briefing room.
The pro-Democrat Party media isn’t happy in the least.
And now Karoline Leavitt laughed off the temper tantrum this fake news outlet pitched.
Karoline Leavitt mocks Huffington Post reporters as dull
Karoline Leavitt announced the White House press team would now pick the reporters that comprise the pool that covers the President.
That caused a meltdown in the pro-Democrat Party media that was accustomed to the leftists in the White House Correspondents Association picking their ideological fellow travelers.
One of the first moves Leavitt made was booting the far-left Huffington Post from that day’s press pool to make room for outlets that the White House Correspondents Association typically shuts out.
The Huffington Post’s Whitney Snyder wrote that Leavitt kicking the outlet’s left-wing activist S.V. Dáte out of the press was a sign of “weakness.”
“This is an extraordinary display of weakness from a United States president who is afraid to face tough questions from pros like Date,” Snyder wrote.
The idea Trump is afraid of taking tough questions is preposterous.
National Journal White House correspondent George E. Condon Jr. reported that in his first month in office Trump fielded 1,009 questions, seven times more than Joe Biden did during a similar time period.
Leavitt addressed this ridiculous claim in an appearance on the Ruthless podcast.
The Press Secretary told the co-hosts it boiled down to the fact that the pro-Democrat Party media couldn’t handle the fact that Donald Trump is having fun in his first month back in office.
“There couldn’t be a less fun reporter to enjoy going to the Super Bowl on a Sunday with the President of the United States than S.V. Dáte,” Leavitt stated.
Trump became the first sitting President to attend the Super Bowl.
Trump took the Presidential limo for a lap around the track at the Daytona 500.
Trump hosts a daily press conference when he signs executive orders or meets with foreign leaders.
Leavitt said the press can recognize Trump is having fun, and that’s why the press is out to drive a wedge between him and Elon Musk.
“I think that’s something the press are having a hard time with. We are genuinely having so much fun, and this is why you’re seeing them obsess over Elon Musk and President Trump, and they’re trying so hard but failing to drive a wedge in that relationship because they love those sensational stories of trying to pin people against each other,” Leavitt added.
Leavitt told the hosts that the leftist media outlets are still in the briefing room and she fields questions from Democrat Party propaganda outfits like CNN on a daily basis.
“The legacy media is still in the briefing room,” Leavitt added. “I take questions from CNN just as much as I take questions from our great conservative friends who don’t have seats in that room, that have to stand on the sides for hours just to have a spot in there.”
What’s infuriating the left-wing media is losing their monopoly on the narrative.
