Teamsters union won’t endorse Kamala Harris
Big Labor is the number one campaign contributor to the Democrat Party by funneling forced union dues ripped out of workers’ paychecks and transferring them into the coffers of Kamala Harris and her allies.
The Teamsters are one of the biggest and most prominent unions in America.
Their endorsement for a Democrat should be a slam dunk.
Not this year.
For the first time since 1996, the Teamsters aren’t endorsing a Presidential candidate.
The Teamsters released results of electronic and telephone polling of its 1,600,000 members and found that nearly 60 percent support Donald Trump.
At the White House press briefing, a reporter grilled Jean-Pierre about what that said about Kamala Harris’ appeal to working-class voters that a reliable Democrat group like the Teamsters have their members overwhelmingly supporting Trump.
“And on Teamsters, I know you can’t talk about the endorsement specifically. But the union also put out its internal polling that showed that there was a pretty wide margin of rank and file membership that supported former President Donald Trump. To what extent is that a referendum on the work of this administration?” the reporter asks.

Karine Jean-Pierre hid behind the Hatch Act – which prevents her from partisan activity on her official time – to duck the question.
“Look, I’m not going to speak to – to – to their poll. I’m not going to speak to the rank and file. Look, it is – we’re talking about a 2024 – obviously an election that is just a few weeks away. I can’t speak to that. I can’t speak to their decision to endorse, not endorse, or I guess in this case not endorse,” Jean-Pierre replied.
Jean-Pierre didn’t want to discuss the obvious implications of this poll, which were that Trump winning nearly 60 percent of the Teamster vote meant polls may once again be under-estimating Trump’s support among working class voters.
Instead, Jean-Pierre filibustered, making sure union bosses knew their money was well spent and that Kamala Harris would rubber stamp the Big Labor agenda if she wins in November.
“I hear you. But we’re talking – we’re still talking about one union. And I’m not going to go into their data. I’m not going to go into their polling. But what I will say is many other labor unions have said, and they’ve been very clear about what this president has been able to do, thinking about manufacturing jobs, you’re thinking about building an economy that leaves nobody behind, you’re thinking about what we’ve been able to do to make sure that we’re – we’re creating – bringing back American jobs here, made in America, obviously, here,” Jean-Pierre concluded.
