Joe Biden is about to get kicked off the ballot in this key state

Apr 10, 2024

One of the biggest ironies in the 2024 election is now playing out.

It could cost the Democrats dearly.

And Joe Biden is about to get kicked off the ballot in this key state.

Ohio Secretary of State informs Democrats state could bar Joe Biden from the ballot

Democrats spent months pursuing an un-American and anti-democratic scheme to cancel the election by banning Donald Trump from the ballot using a fringe legal theory involving the 14th Amendment.

But it turns out Joe Biden may be the one in danger of getting banned from the ballot.

And it’s all because Democrats didn’t pay attention to the calendar.

Legal counsel for Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose is trying to figure out a major ballot access issue for Joe Biden, as Biden is set to officially accept the Democrat Party nomination for President nearly two weeks after the deadline to certify a candidacy in Ohio.

“The Democratic National Convention is scheduled to convene on Aug. 19, which will take place more than a week after the Aug. 7 deadline to certify a presidential candidate in Ohio, the office flagged according to state code, which would create a problem for Biden’s eligibility,” ABC News reported.

Legal counsel Paul Disantis wrote that either the Democrats needed to change the date of their convention or the Ohio state legislature needed to act within the next six weeks.

“I am left to conclude that the Democratic National Committee must either move up its nominating convention or the Ohio General Assembly must act by May 9, 2024 (90 days prior to a new law’s effective date) to create an exception to this statutory requirement,” Disantis wrote.

The Biden campaign expressed optimism Biden would appear on the ballot in all 50 states.

“We’re monitoring the situation in Ohio and we’re confident that Joe Biden will be on the ballot in all 50 states,” a Biden campaign spokesperson relayed to ABC News.

Ramifications extend far beyond the Presidential race

Ohio used to be the swing state that decided the election.

Whoever won Ohio won the Presidency.

But thanks to Donald Trump, Ohio is now a ruby red stronghold.

Ohio isn’t in play this year, and it won’t hurt Biden not to be on the ballot.

However, it could cost Democrats control of the United States Senate.

Republicans only need to win two Democrat held seats to win back the majority.

Republicans are heavy favorites to win the seat in West Virginia following Joe Manchin’s retirement.

Ohio is then the next prime Republican target where radical leftist incumbent Sherrod Brown is seeking a fourth term.

Republicans nominated Trump-endorsed Bernie Moreno, and polls show Brown languishing with just 42 percent of the vote, according to Real Clear Politics.

An incumbent polling so low means the majority of the public is ready to move, and they just need to familiarize themselves with the challenger.

But should the Ohio ballot feature Donald Trump but not Joe Biden, Democrats will be at a serious turnout advantage as Trump supporters will flock to the polls, but Democrats who only vote in Presidential years will stay home.

And that turnout gap could be enough to cost Brown the election and, in turn, also cost Democrats the majority in the Senate.
