Court rules Fani Willis has to hand over secret communications about Trump case
The fate of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ criminal case against President-elect Donald Trump and his allies for contesting the results of the 2020 Election in Georgia is in the hands of the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Her witch hunt against Trump is going to become a bigger headache for her than she ever realized.
Conservative legal group Judicial Watch filed an Open Records Act (ORA) to obtain any communications that Willis had with Special Counsel Jack Smith and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) sham January 6th Select Committee.
The Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney’s Office claimed that it didn’t have any communications with Smith or the committee.
Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit in March against Willis after she didn’t comply with an open records request.
It turned out she was lying through her teeth about who her office was communicating with about her Trump witch hunt.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney ruled that Willis has to hand over communications with Smith and the January 6th Committee.
The Judge also found that she broke the law by ignoring the ORA request from Judicial Watch.
Willis didn’t show up to court to defend herself and falsely claimed that she received improper service about the lawsuit.
Judge McBurney ruled that she had to pay Judicial Watch’s legal fees for the case.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton was stunned that Willis didn’t even show up to court to put up a defense.
“Fani Willis is something else. We’ve been doing this work for 30 years, and this is the first time in our experience a government official has been found in default for not showing up in court to answer an open records lawsuit,” Fitton said. “Judicial Watch looks forward to getting any documents from the Fani Willis operation about collusion with the Biden administration and Nancy Pelosi’s Congress on her unprecedented and compromised ‘get-Trump’ prosecution.”
Fani Willis coordinated with Biden White House and January 6th Committee
Willis hired her secret lover Nathan Wade to serve as a special prosecutor on the Trump case.
The House Judiciary Committee uncovered records this fall that revealed he billed Fulton County for meetings with the January 6th Committee and the Biden White House.
Wade told the committee in an interview that he couldn’t remember meeting with anyone from the White House.
But his billing records indicated that he traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with President Joe Biden’s White House Counsel.
Wade later admitted that he met “individuals associated with the January 6th Committee.”
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office was getting a helping hand from Washington, D.C. Democrats building their case against Trump.
